If you tap the key fob close or open and then long press and hold all 4 windows will close or open respectively.
You can capture diagnostics by long press the hazard light button
If your tailgate is down and you go into reverse, there is a toggle in settings to use the over the bed camera for backup
This a great video for new Rivian owners… but as a current owner I did not learn anything I didn’t already know.
Multiple garages, multiple volume sliders and turning the bed lights on/off. Nice work!
Some great info here Jose! 👏
But, did you know that when picking a destination, if you tap on the address it’ll give you the ability to pick options (like no tolls) but if you click GO, you cannot.
I was wondering how to turn off tolls. So I can’t make no tolls the default?
@@MrMitchman22 You should be able to. It’s just not obvious how. When you pick a destination, tap on the options and it’ll ask you one time only or always. Pick the latter.

Good stuff, Jose. I read the 400+ page manual, watched more TH-cam videos than I’ll admit, and am a curious person, and I still got some gems from this!
OMG, the volume tip was a goldmine. Thanks Jose!
Glad it was helpful!
I thought I knew everything about my R1T… your taught me a few things. Thanks!
Love to hear this!
Learned about the volume, vehicle diagnostics and wiper toggle. Thanks Jose.
Learning about the volume adjustments alone was worth the price!!!
Just took delivery of an R1T. This video is super helpful. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Cool. I didn't know a lot of this stuff and I've had mine 1T for about 5 months.
Excited you learned something!
Dropping a pin on the map, sending diagnostics, and the bed light are all things I didn't know! Super awesome and helpful video, Jose! Can't wait to see what you share in the next one!
Changing garages with the scroll wheel and adjusting all volumes were new to me. Thanks!
Super, Jose! Thanks!
So happy to learn about the button that turns on the bed light!
Learn something new every day. Thanks Jose.
Nearly 2 years of ownership in and I learned a couple things. Great job!
I’m so glad to hear this!
Great video Jose!
Glad you enjoyed it
Just this 4th of July holiday I figured out that the R1S will deal with traffic jams using driver assist. Only thought it was for crusing speeds, but it works just fine with stop and go traffic. Speed set to 75mph. R1S dealt with speeds anywhere in between, including full stops. Steering was spot on as well!
It’s magical!
wow love it! thanks
Glad you like it!
Great stuff Jose!
Thank you 😊
Excellent video!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks - picked up a couple of things that I was not aware of!
Yay!
I'll be damned....I've had my R1S since September and did not know about the storage bins under the seat. Thanks for the heads-up!
I wish I knew about the tailgate button turning the lights on about five minutes ago. Thank you!
Well done Jose. There were some great tips in here that I didn't know about. We appreciate you hard work
I appreciate that!
Great video and relevant content as always! All delivered with enthusiastic passion! You’ve created quite a following Jose!! We appreciate your hard work! ⚡️🙌
I love the Rivian brand, I want everyone to know about it and have fun while doing so!
I don't even have the truck yet and I'm even more excited after watching this video! Thanks!
Question: Is your truck wrapped? That's not a factory color is it? Just curious!
Glad you enjoyed! And yes my truck was black and I wrapped it in 3M Satin Vampire Red
I am going camping and would like to know more about camp mode?
Good stuff Jose. I didn’t know about the various volume settings. How do we submit feature enhancement requests like pin to drive, charge curve graph added to infotainment screen, or mobile app access to gear guard cameras? Looking forward to more tips in this series.
There's no "official" way to submit feature requests but I do run a Wishlist which Rivian watches and looks at which you can upvote and submit stuff: riviansoftware.canny.io
Pin to Drive, Infotainment Screen, Gear Guard live cameras are all coming this year!
Hi Jose! Got my R1S yesterday, amazing! I really like your videos! Great info!
I didn’t have the time to view all your videos, maybe my answer is in one of your videos… do you use Rivian’s wall charger or another brand ?
Thank you! Merci beaucoup from Quebec, Canada.
Congrats! And yes I’m using Rivian’s official wall charger :)
@@riviantrackrthanks a lot Jose! I am sending the link to your channel to my sister who got an R1S too
Awww thanks for sharing
Thanks, Jose. I didn't know about the plug on the center console or how to turn the lights off in the bed like that, super cool. I do have a question for you - is there a way to edit a location name when you save a location, either dropping a pin or something else? For instance, I dropped a pin where I drop my kids off at camp, but I won't necessarily remember that the coordinates are for that camp, especially if I end up dropping several pins. Also, the camp has another location that comes up as the park name, but I'd like to change the name in my saved list to show the camp name, not the park name. Is this possible?
Do you have a tip for running a 120v extension cord to outside with vehicle locked?
Could the garage open feature also work on a driveway gate?
Yes!
Your vehicle image in the software shows an el cap-ish color but your vehicle is red. Is that a vinyl wrap?
Yup, it was Midnight and I wrapped it vampire red
@@riviantrackr nice! Does that give you a level of protection like PPF or nah?
@MrrQuackers No PPF but it does protect the original paint
Am I the only one noticing you have Apple Watch as a key? 😃 how do you get that?
I do? Haha I promise I don’t but I wish I did
Did you know the old Rivian floor mats do not properly fit the new R1S and Ts because of a minor floor change?
One guy already had the throttle stick due to a misfiring floor mat. Old version didn’t fit well enough and trapped the pedal.
Google it.
The Gear Shop does explicitly state the rubber mats are for Gen 1 only
Jose, why are your tire pressures so high! 48psi is standard.
I run LT tires which require higher tire pressure
