MTNcorps I was actually glad the bars broke. When my front end hit first it twisted the bars and I landed with the bars pointing in between my ribs and the ground and that is what snapped them. Had the bars not broken they could have impaled me rather than just breaking a rib.

How do you avoid coming over the front tire. Do you lean back more? Honestly biking alone in the mountains is fine but I would avoid any jumps no? Sorry this happened
Hi. OMG what a crash. Glad that you are fine! I know this dive feeling or maybe backwheel popper from much smaller jumps. I always blamed the jump because it happens to me always on the same kickers. But as it happens to the people on the biggest crapapple very often I think it depends on the technique or setup or something. At least the pros do not seem to have that problem while crankworx whip off. Can anyone explain the reason to me why that happens here and how to avoid the nosedive?
You have to preload your front and rear suspension before takeoff. Also, lower the rebound on the shocks, but keep the fork and rear shock at the same rebound. It can also be that you are leaning too far forward on the lip
Hi Ski&MTB. Thank you for the answer. I will consider that and I will test it on much smaller jumps. Maybe my rebound of fork and shock is not aligned and also the body position on the lip is an interesting factor. Thanks!!!
@@skimtb1040 that has nothing to do with it. The guy had his weight too far back. If your weight is not perfectly centred, a jump that size will buck you. If anything he needed more weight on the front to balance it

Ah man, Nuff respect ✊ for putting it up, I’ve had that feeling to. You need to reposition your body after each big hit, as you are going down hill the tendency is to lean forward, this, if not corrected I feel can Put your body in the wrong position, and therefore as you go over the lip your weight is over the front to much. Maybe slow your rebound down a little too.
