I’m very excited to see you compete in Pro! Your S14 is a great example of a underdog car in that class. Reminiscent of my 400HP RX7 competing against the big guys with 600+HP engines. Love to see it!❤
Im not a drifter, Had no reason to watch this, glad I did. jokes and the edits kept me laughing the whole way through. also, I got to learn about how treadwear works. Informative and entertaining 11/10, would recommend to family and friends
@@TheKeatyBear it would be interesting for the series to have a poll to see how many cars fit in that middle category compared to Pro. My personal opinion is if you have 500HP car, big tire, want to compete, the next step is to install a cage because that's a racecar disguised as a street car. 500HP on a big tire is pretty fast to not have a cage in competition drifting. Just my opinion.
I Plan Competing, just ordered a stack of tires last year in the wrong size. Felt the Rules are fair, felt 235 are pretty small when I'm trying to maximize life with wider tires. #BanAllMissiles Lots of Shitty cars here in Ontario.
Sorry to hear that. I guess you got yourself into 245s? Probably won't hurt the wallet too much downsizing to 235 for only the comp. You can usually get away with 2 pairs for a comp event. You can also run the morning practice on the illegal tires to save your legal tires for the actual competition.
I'd love to see Spec-D take these rules on to get us some east-west unity. I wonder how the power limit/dyno sheet thing will be enforced though. Ideally we'd get a mobile dyno trailer thing like GridLife does, but that's expensive.
I'd love to get into drifting but I'm scared to try cause I live in cape Breton the closest track to me is in Halifax 5 hours away so if I fuck up and put the car into a pole I'm stuck in Halifax
There are some weekend-long events going on here this summer, some even go Saturday Sunday Monday. Definitely would be worth the drive if you stayed for a few days.
i have no plans on competing in this, but the rules are set pretty fairly i think for a true STREET CAR class. That being said, i will probably try to get a media pass for this event series and take some photos for my favourite drivers and cool cars!
Can’t wait to compete in the series! Bumping up to pro class because no interior and lexan, so might as well push myself to step up.

Dude, I know nothing about IRL drifting but this was a great breakdown. GG
i see you play a lot of forza, if you are interested in drifting i recommend Assetto on PC. banging doors one of my fav things to do on PC.
Loved it, keep it up man, hope to see you out there🤟🏻
Thanks! I hope to see you out there too!
“pat beats you with 200hp” lmaooo
I'm happy you noticed that :D

Lmao need more people like you in my viewership
First comp ever so, Street Class for me! 3L M54 + 235 Greevas in the rear.
Hopefully I can spin them lol.
You'll be fine in the 330! Good luck!
Can't wait to see it! I am pretty certain Greeva will be the most popular tire this season in Street Class
I think they should add a middle class between pro and street for all the people who dont fit inside ether category’s
💯
What do you imagine this class would look like? Tire, power, safety wise?
350hpmin 500hp max, 255 max tire. Cage optional, but recommended. Harness bar with bucket seat and fire extinguisher
