- Broken Reality is a fun exploration/walking sim game where you explore a retro themed 3D internet. Some of the story and its subtext is a little easy to miss if you're not paying attention though. So if you're ready to uncover the secrets of NATEM and ride a funky 【Ａｅｓｔｈｅｔｉｃ】wave then sit back and enjoy. I had a ton of fun making this one, hope you guys enjoy.

One thing mentioned on tvtropes that I never noticed before reading it is that it's implied that it's phisherman who originally breaks the bridge beneath you in aquanet, as the z-up axis shows up before it falls.

Very interesting, I always wondered about the sigma references but never realized it was the player character, I also misinterpreted the final area as being back to reality. Gonna have to give this game a replay.
Love your lore videos. They're actual story explanations for obscure or weird games that no one else makes videos for. And the games themselves have good lore.

Great video! Broken Reality has some really interesting things going on your video made that clear :P I was wondering if you heard of a game called The Indigo Parallel? It is super weird and I think would make a good video
Thank you for the kind words. I only just heard about Indigo Parallel from your comment and I took some time to look into it. I'm definitely going to look into it further but from what I've seen I'm worried about it being too abstract for me to make heads or tails out of. Thank you for the recommendation regardless of whatever I eventually decide.

@@doctordirck Yeah I thought it was great. And it seems like something that would be right up your alley. The story behind it is cool too kind of weird and trippy. Might be something you want to check out. Possibly make a good lore video. Or maybe even a blind lets play🤔

You should really check out the game G-String, It's right up your alley. There's a remaster in the works right now but the steam version has some fantastic and unintuitive worldbuilding, visuals, and level design.
When I first looked into it after reading this recommendation I thought 'nah' and wanted to sleep on a way to say that I wasn't interested, but after I woke up and looked at it again I think I'm definitely going to play it at least to see what I think because it does look cool. There is, I do plan on covering it sometime in the future for sure. I'm just debating waiting until the next game comes out or pulling the trigger on a video about it now. I got other stuff in the queue for right now but I'll be covering it eventually.
