You're welcome! I enjoyed X-Slayers even though I didn't finish it. I liked all the secrets in that game a lot. Dreamsettler is going to be a ton of fun I'm sure
I feel one super important bit you missed out is that according to developer around 50-60s a history divergence happened which led to majorly distinct popular culture, BWL instead of lol online, completely different cartoons, music genres than irl, a lot mirroring actual real world stuff but retaining some period-appropriate vibes like 90s still feeling like 90s even if they got genres called coolpunk and haze instead of our world equivalents. Mind that doesn't explain even earlier divergence with Trenis instead of Tenis becoming a major sport but that's like an outlier.
@@Tanyamartinez666 I'll definitely consider it. It would likely come up when I'd bridge the gap between Hypnospace Outlaw and Dreamsettler so when I cover that in the future I'd probably talk about Slayers X
Good video, a nice summary of everything in the game. My only suggestion would've been to add a spoiler warning and there were some mistakes with the lore.
Tim was deemed responsible for the Mindcrash Virus which killed several people including the girl he was interested in at the time. In reality it was Dylan's buggy car game that caused the crash. So Dylan would be responsible for it and not Tim even though Tim did time in prison for it.
@@absolute_baller546 Yes that's right, and in the epilogue you find evidence incriminating Dylan and exonerating Tim. Dylan turns himself into the police with this evidence and that's the end of the game.

so tim killed his love interest and went to jail? was he responsible for it or was it dylan?

@@doctordirck so basically tim was blamed and went to jail because dylan never admitted it was him
