Love your stuff. Just an insight on the "counterfeit" vs original issue, many Chinese factories have behind the scene agreements with western brands. This is true with archery parts, car parts, etc. In many of those agreements, once a model has been deadlined by the western brand, the molds and tooling become available for the OEM producer to use at their leisure. Now this does not always mean that the post-deadline pieces will be made with the same quality materials, but surely means that shapes become available for them to freely use. I believe this is why we don't see brands "reissue" classic frames. They don't have/own the molds anymore. And in these days brands would make a cook killing by reissuing if they could. The prices could be way lower.
Thank you for bringing us information and real reviews of these alternate brands. I thought about buying a Tan Tan, but went with a trifox X-18 (the Trifox X18 frame was horrible, so skip that model). I was going to ask you to consider your next frame build out be an OG-Evkin "Linnet CF-026". But I just looked at both frames and I think they are identical, both tan tan X34 and OG-Evkin CF-026 have the exact same geometry for all the frame sizes (but the OG-Evkin costs more and has a different seatpost..). I believe Seraph is the brand name for Tan Tan, but I could be wrong.
Hi Patrick. Any further update on the Tantan X34, as I am in the market for another frame. Unfortunately for some unknown reason to me I am blocked from Chinertown. I cannot contact them to ask for an explanation. A shame as I loved the comments on the various Chinese frames. Keep up the good work! Best wishes from Spain!
I'm a HKer which usually see taobao framesets on road. Tantan probably also a factory producing fake big brand framesets. I'm not really familiar with fake frames but this x34 looks like 2022 look795blade Rs and the x38 should be acting new Scott foil bike. These factories are removing the logo and keeping the frame on a carbon surface. Just for some supplementary information, hope it helps you
@PatrickLino ill give it a shot lol...First it was handpicked. Second I'm on my second chinese frame. good frame but has some rough edges which by the way was reviewed by hambini who also received a flawlessly finished version. I live in china I've worked in a chinese factory this practice is universal across the board regardless of the industry.

Yup Seraph is the “brand”, if customers want logos.

Check out the link below. It's winter time here so not too much outdoor riding.
Lol I thought you were over cheap bikes haha 🤣
You should have ask for the TanTan TT-x40, looks like a good aero bike :)
That’s why the bike isn’t for me LoL
Do you plan on having him on and what is his weight and height? I'm a heavier rider as well. 5'11" and 245lbs. Thanks!
He’s 6’0” and 185lbs - crazy power for his weight

Happy to hear!
At what point do you consider yourself a hoarder? :P
In all seriousness, this frames QC is probably not representative of
Ask other significantly more important and popular cycling reviewers on TH-cam first, then come back to me 🤣
It looks like the yoeleo no?
Trek makes the Madone
Man, I wish I could produce 1500+ watts.
