Kenny G was an absolute fabulous guest. Affable, deprecating, great stories, rolled with Bill's punches. They had a great chemistry. Kenny G genuinely seems like a nice guy.

So here’s what I’ve learned today: The world picks on Kenny G because, for the most part, we’re innately bullies. Kenny is important, and remains relevant because of his massive talent, and for better or worse (better maybe), he maintains a beta personality that surfaces when he over exerts himself trying to be cool for people like Bill, and allows everyone of us that consumes him (who he’ll never meet) to make jokes about him while still enjoying his talent.
I think we should like him for his talent, and love him because he needs it. Or because we want to, likely the same reason.

Thank you Bill for this one with Kenny G. First of all, my best friend at the U of A was Carol Carter. Her brother is Scott Carter. That aside, I never knew that much about Kenny G. I REALLY like him better than before. He is very interesting, smart and talented and SINGLE! I'll go out with him! Seriously, love Kenny G. A LOT NOW!!

Hands down, this is one of my all-time fave Club Random episodes. What's NOT to like about Kenny G, as both a world-class musician and human being ??!
As a former alto saxophone player, Kenny G is one of my modern sax "idols", and I've considered learning Soprano sax because of his beautiful melodies and solos (and I started on clarinet, so it might even be a more "natural fit" for me than Alto, due to the way it's played, as well as its smaller size & lighter weight).
He's truly "MADE SAX GREAT AGAIN" ! 😉🤣

A cool guy.Musically, like a lot of people, he doesn't connect with me,but his heart❤ is in the right place. He handles his many detractors and their often mean-spirited comments with the humor one would expect of a person of character such as he. Success should not be grounds for resentment or jealousy if it is earned honestly.

Ok Bill. I think it’s time to have the genius, Todd Rundgren on your podcast. Besides bringing up his accolades in the music world please bring up the subjects of the things he’s accomplished with regards to computers and multimedia. At least Todd will sit down with you and smoke a joint or two. His favorite drink for now is a dirty martini so have the good stuff and ready! Thanks a million from one of your biggest fans, The Mighty Quinn! 😂🎶🎸👍

The irony here is that for a guy only known for his music and no words, Kenny had a lot to say and managed to prevent Bill from taking over the conversation as he usually does. While Bill's rants can be amusing, I think we all know them by now, and it's nice to have a guest get a word in.

Love the banter about Hotels in Seattle! I went from Portland to Seattle for my favorite Metal band from Norway... booked a room at the Red Lion or maybe it was Holiday Inn... LOL after the show getting settled in for the night when LOW & BEHOLD here comes the Band I just watched!!! I was thrilled when they also showed up at Breakfast ... just like ordinary people... I didn't bother them... Just relished listening to them speaking Norwegian!
