Kinda funny. I went from a zr2 Colorado with the Duramax to a 2021 f150 with the coyote a little over a year ago. One of the main drivers in that decision was cabin space. We towed our pop up from DFW to Cherokee NC and back and the back seat passengers were pretty miserable… I’ve got my wife and two boys (10 and 13)… had to have more space.
All that being said, I’m excited for that new Colorado! I think GM knocked that one out of the park!

IMO 2020 and newer fully loaded, convenience and premium packages, Nissan TITAN "XD" Pro4x for with under 30K miles and wait for it.....can be had for under $46K if yah look hard enough. I know, got mine under $45K and with low production numbers and abysmal sales, titan making less than 1% of total market shares, I'm confident this machine will be a jewel and will pay me back and more in about 10 years. Additionally, Nissan has the best warranty game in the truck business. This 5/8ths ton truck is the best truck in the segment! All around pick up. Triple threat: tow/haul, off roader, every day driver. Very undervalued at the moment.

I've been watching you guys for years (from North Texas) and Andrea helped me decided to pull the trigger on a new F-150. I custom ordered in November a F-150 SuperCab with 8' bed. I went with V8, (400HP and 410 Torqs) max tow and max payload. Payload sticker shows 2507lb and towing is 13k. I kept it simple work truck and was able to get it last week for less than MSRP which I hope shows prices will normalize. First time out I took the family on a 300+ mile trip and averaged over 21mpg with both city and rural driving. Rides great, drives great, and I think it can do anything we want. Thanks Andrea and the awesome TFL team!

Chips are all not the same. If you follow detailed analysists the last i heard while cutting edge fab proccesses have excess supply: AMD, Nvidia, and Apple are holding the bag right now for the bleeding edge. But trucks use old broken fabs for industrial chips, which were still having troubles maintaining order volume with all the military orders with the war in Ukraine. Cutting edge fabs and old industrial fabs make totally different products that cannot be swapped without millions or billions of dollars of redesigns. even though old proccesses are in demand, they won't Pay: Apple, Nvidia, AMD, Qualcomm prices.

I bought a 17 Chevy Silverado 1500 for pulling a travel trailer. I was disappointed that I had to add an aftermarket trailer brake controller. The truck had a max tow capacity of 9300 lbs. and yet it was not even legal to pull a trailer over 3000 lbs. when I bought it. Even worse, it was the Texas Edition package with trailer tow. I let the salesman have it about how discussed by that fact. Chevy shouldn't even have Texas in the name. Love your channel. Keep the good content coming.

First off, you guys are my favorite channel by far. Also, I've never posted a commented before so this is a first. I owned a 19 classic identical to stubby except mine was a quad. Now I own a 22 bighorn crew. I completely agree with the headlights, absolutely terrible. However, I purchased orical v series light bulbs for my 19 they were little over $100. I believe Roman sated how much you have to take apart fo change the buld. I'm not sure if you guys realize. You really don't have to do that. It literally took my 5 min a buld to pop out the headlight housing and put the new bulbs in. Did the same thing with my new truck in the dealer lot when I got the new truck. The orical bulbs are fantastic. We got my wife a 22 pilot and it had the hid bright white projector lights. The bulbs i put in my rams are far better and brighter especially on the highway. Maybe not the great for oncoming traffic. But every bright bulb blinds you nowadays just have to learn too not look directly at oncoming traffic I suppose.
    Again love the show guys.
    Ciao.

Car flippers are absolutely driving up the markups for new and used cars. I know for a fact people were buying new Taycans and Mavericks for the sole purpose of reselling- that decreases the supply of new cars and hence increases the dealer markups. Good on GM for trying anything to slow down the car flippers. Eventually used car prices will go down and the flippers will go away.

How did you track miles? Odometer is off so anything using that will be off as well. It would have been easy enough to use a correction factor to get the correct mileage.

I agree on the deal breakers on the ram, but on my 2020 2500 they have an access panel in the wheel well that you open, took less than 5 minutest to replace both headlights with LED's and they are much much brighter, and I love them, also on the tailgate the dealer option for the dampened tail gate is crazy when you can purchase the DEEZEE dampner and again it takes about 10 mintues to install.

Great choice, Andre on the new truck. Not in market personally for a mid-size, but looks like GM got so many things right on it based on what I've seen so far. I think a lot of folks will enjoy watching the content you put out on it. I'm looking forward to it.

There should be a setting for selecting from the stock tire sizes and other variables they should be able to set such as pinion factor. It might just take finding a dealer willing to work on it. If anything it's more of a liability to leave it incorrect. It took my Jeep dealer a couple tries to get the speedometer on my old Jeep Patriot accurate but they did.

I replaced my headlight bulbs with LED bulbs from Amazon - it took an hour to change both sides, not as bad as it initially appeared. What a difference - it lights up the night like a new Ram Limited does! They are bright for oncoming drivers but no worse than a new F-150 w/LEDs. I've had no cold weather trouble, although the coldest I've driven w/them is about 25 degrees F.

      @Jackmerius_Tacktheretrix ปีที่แล้ว +2

Those LEDs from amazon dont worl right with a halogen lamp housing. The lugbt pattern of an LED, especially a cgeap one is different. You are blinding oncoming traffic. Good LEDs like Morimoto will not blind oncoming traffic and will light up better. F150s with the stock LED lights don't blind oncoming traffic because the housing is designed for LEDs. Housings designed for a regular bulb aren't made for led lights, especially generic leds because the pattern is different. What you have is a poor lught pattern blinding oncoming traffic and giving you the false illusion of better lighting because it lights up more directly on front of you but has poor light throw for long distance.

I must say, the redesign looks nice. The interior of the new generation looks excellent. That engine in the truck should be a little rocket. But as someone who just switched from a mid-sized to a full-sized truck, I couldn't imagine going back. I like the color choice, though! Life is too short for boring colored cars!

I have a full sized truck and recently looked at a mid-size. I could not live with a mid size, particularly due to interior room.
Good luck with an electric snow blower. I'd practically give mine away.

I am very interested in the Colorado after driving a full-size reg cab truck for 20 years. I like the back seat but still keeping the overall truck size manageable. Interested to see what you think of it and how it performs. I would just do the work truck though 😂.

Forscan mods can fix speedometer discrepancies and you can also set transmission to new tire size and it relearns getting better fuel economy.

I owned a set of TKO's once. Never again. Performance in mud and snow was inferior to other brands and tire conicity as with most BFG's caused a pull every time rotations were performed. They lasted a long time though, due to that hard rubber.

Smart thing to do would be to put larger tires on your truck then recalibrate your speedometer to half of your actual speed then your odometer will only show half the distance you drive.👍

I was going to order this exact truck - except in red - a few weeks ago. I called all the dealers in my local area and all were charging a market adjustment of $3000 on average. I finally called a dealer several hundred miles away and they said they'd order one for me at MSRP. I thought about it and decided I'd just wait.
I think the new Trail Boss looks like a good value considering current offerings, but I'm just sick of putting up with dealers, so I'll wait.
Congrats on your purchase! Looking forward to your reviews and seeing if this is a good truck. If it is I'll buy one in 2030 when I can find one used!

Andre, the 430tq tune is only a few hundred bucks, why didn't you get that option? I'm also looking at one, I feel like it could be good to have a small/midsize truck if I finally find a house I want to buy. Ability to transport furniture and lawn equipment and such.
