Lego Technic 42100 Model-C: Combine Harvester

This MOC is an alternate build of the 42100 Liebherr R9800 Excavator.
It is a model of a big modern combine harvester that runs on tracks in the front and on wheels in the back. The MOC consists of the harvester itself, the header and a trailer that mounts to the back of the combine to transport the header.
The model is fully remote controlled using all 7 motors and both control+ hubs of the 42100 set.
It uses 3270 parts.

I got mine last weekend and built it. A few oddities in the design, but WONDERFUL instruction and explanations. Wish I knew the 42100 set was retiring so I could get a second set. By far one of the best moc builders in rebrickable

Hello, first of all thank you great MOC. It is quite difficult but even more fun. Just a question: is there any easy way to remove HUBs and replace battery? Thank you

Hello, thank you for your purchase. Good to hear that you are having fun with the combine. Unfortunately there is no easy way to remove the batteries from the hubs. The hubs are located in that position to counter the weight of the header when it is attached. If they were located somewhere else, there would be other compromises in the functionality of the moc. So some sections have to be removed in order to change the batteries... But it can be done. I changed them several times. Greetings Lars

That is really great. What real model is it base on and what is the scale roughly?

Thanks! There is no specific model that ist IS based in. It could be a mix of a john Deere s690 and an agco 9T i guess😉 The scale is the same as the smaller technic trucks like the mack or the heavy duty tow truck...
