Nah, people have been doing this way before Covid happened. I mean have you seen some of the things people have built with LEGO? There are some crazy builds at LEGO conventions. With the quarantine, they’ve just had a lot more time on their hands to build new things.

I love how most of the buils are made by the brick wall.
I'm a little concerned about the assembly line robot at the end. If Lego's are able to self replicate, then what is to stop them from forming Lego based life? They could replace us as the dominant species on the planet.

You can get a large amount of specific pieces by buying them one by one on a specific market, or simply buy a large official set like the 42055 or 42054 then take the parts from them !
