Lego Technic John Deere 9RX 830 with Speed Disk! - A #42131 alternate build!

This video shows my latest Lego Technic MOC, the Lego Technic John Deere 9RX 830 with speed disk and it´s features.
It is an alternate build of the Lego Technic #42131 Cat D11 Bulldozer and consists of 3431 parts. This means that everything you need to build it yourself is the 42131 set by Lego and my instructions.
The model uses all 4 motors and the hub of the 42131 set. The two large angular motors operate the 4-track-drive, the two large motors operate and shift the multifunctional gearbox that powers all additional functions of the tractor and the speed disk including the articulated steering and the opening mechanism of the hood.
The tractor features a rear main PTO and a rear secondary PTO to power the functions of the speed disk. When the disk is attached to the tractor, the wings can be unfolded and it can be lowered to the ground remote controlled by the motors in the tractor selected through the multifunctional gearbox.
After your purchase you will be able to download the high quality building instructions with building steps, renders, explainations and fotos as pfd-file as well as the instructions on how to set up the app Brickcontroller 2 and Powered Up to be able to controll the finished model. A third way of controlling the model is also included: Pybricks. It is an alternate firmware for Control+ hubs running a Python based code that lets you control the model just with the Lego train remote. No smartphone needed!

Does the tractor come with the hydraulic? Stuff for the arms ?
This is an alternate build of the lego technic set #42157 John Deere Skidder. The pneumatic parts used in this build are included in the original lego set.

Does this model automatically shift? If yes, does the model stop each time?
@@williamdemler24 The model can shift automatically when using pybricks to control it. It depends on the floor it is driving on if it stops when shifting or not. But it is better than with the original Volvo hauler...
why trailer is not 2 axle ?😊
@@rtb47 Because the truck has duals on the rear axle and there are only 8 wheels in the 42128 set😉

It has some torque especially in first gear. But due to the differentials all wheels have to touch the ground to make it move😉

I don't think so because there just is not enough space inside for standard lego motors and a hub. But maybe If you have some third party micro motors...😉

How long does it takes you to build creations like this?
@@valentinwaibel8667 It takes me about two month until a MOC is finished including instructions etc. This MOC can be build in about ten hours to by a rather experienced builder using the instructions 😉

Hi, I have a question, is it necessary to buy 2 manuals for this truck? Or can you buy the version with motors and then assemble it without motors?
Hello, unfortunately, the manual Version of the Truck has some differences inside comparing to the RC version. I made RC version first and added the manual later because many people wanted it. So it is a different build. The trailer ist the same. If you are interested in both, write me a DM at rebrickable and I will make you a good deal for both😉
