  • This video is showing my MOC, only made with the parts of the Lego 42100 Liebherr 9800 Excavator. It is a model of the Case IH Quadtrac 620 and includes 6 attachments:
    A plow
    A frontweight
    A cultivator
    A forklift with palette
    A silage-shield
    And a mower
    The model is fully remote controlled and powered by 4 control+ motors and one hub. It contains 3255 parts.
    I also created the instructions for this build, which are available on rebrickable.com now:
    rebrickable.co...
    Have fun

    This is amazing, the features like the seat and ladder are clever, the combination of the PTO rear drive shaft and lifting for the mower is genius! This rivals any official set.

    Amazing set! Are you able to build all the attachments at the same time with the tractor using parts from just one set?
    As this requires only one hub and 4 motors, it would make sense for Lego to release something like this as a real set, too! It could be lower cost alternative to 42100 which is no longer for sale.

    • @larshennings2573

    Al true! What a magnificent design Lars, had a lot of fun building it. Lego Control+ app obvisiously does not work. I prefer an ‘old school’ remote controle as you show in your video (blue one). Can you tell me where to purchase this controller?

      @@larshennings2573 Btw: can you tell me how I ‘import’ the BuWizz-profile that goes with the building instructions in the BuWizz-app?

    • @larshennings2573
      @larshennings2573  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure:
      First you download the .zip-file (It is the other file that is free to download on rebrickable after you purchased the pdf-instructions) to your mobile device and save it somewhere on the device. It is important that you do NOT unzip the file. When you have installed BuWizz, you open the app and tap in the Icon with the three lines:
      drive.google.com/file/d/1CRajkuTiB5UH3c0oIFDLmmdd26IbcvE9/view?usp=drivesdk
      Then you tap on the second of the four Icons in the row that looks like a download Icon:
      drive.google.com/file/d/1CW0HB-7j8d3-1AG_Q7qgtXIq9cYxQxH1/view?usp=drivesdk
      Now, you need to navigate to the location on your mobile device, where you stored the .zip-file in the beginning and select it. That is typically your download-folder...:
      drive.google.com/file/d/1CYCJoRJOn8q6oKFAABn3IQp97Ut5kHSJ/view?usp=drivesdk
      Finally, you should see the message, that a profile has been imported:
      drive.google.com/file/d/1CZdeOMZvm2Kv8g430Nc1sXKcjcGhVt8m/view?usp=drivesdk
      Now, you open the Profile by tapping on it and connect to the Control+hub by selecting it after tapping in the bottom right field called "Link BuWizz Outputs"
      After the hub is connected, everything should work.
      Greetings
      Lars

      @@larshennings2573 Hi Lars, all of the steps performed, seemingly successfully. Hub gets connected, but I can’t operate the functions 🤨…must be something wrong. Do you need to ‘connect’ or ‘dedicate’ the 4 four sources too? Connectors look good attached (are green). I don’t see any ‘controllers’ to operate the Quadtrac

    • @larshennings2573
      @larshennings2573  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you very much! The Scale is somewhere around 1:16. To control the hubs with a Playstation- (or a XBox- or any other bluetooth-) controller, you need to install the app Brickcontroller 2 on your smartphone. You can find a ton of tutorials here on youtube when you search for "Brickcontroller 2" on how to set up the app to make it work... Greetings Lars

    can someone help me between page 31 and 32 it shows 3 small motors, page 116 shows 2 small motors the set 42100 comes with 4 small and two large so do you need extra motors to build this set

    • @larshennings2573
      @larshennings2573  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, thak you for your purchase. The 42100-set comes with 4 small and 3 large motors. The quadtrac-moc uses 3 small and one large motor. The two small motors you see on the photo between step 32 and 33 are added this early to get the cable-management right as their cables need to be guided at this point all the way to the front of the tractor... Watch out for the motor-lables i put on the photo between step 32 and 33 and you will see that there are the same lables in step 114 and 115 because these are the same motors as in the photo before: PTO-motor (A) and lifting-motor (B). I hope this will help you. Greetings, Lars

    Hi Lars, I like the MOC a lot and have just purchased the instructions from Rebrickable! PDF is OK, but as this is my first MOC, can you tell me how I control it? Will the BuwizzApp work woth the lego Hub's and motors of the 42100? And last, how to get the Buwizz profile I downloaded in my phone :-). Thanks again for the great design and thanks in advance for the answers.

    • @larshennings2573
      @larshennings2573  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Gerrit, thank you very much for your support and the purchase. I appreciate your support a lot! For controlling the model you have two choices:
      1. If you do own a Bluetooth Controller such as a PS4-controller, Xbox Controller or any other Bluetooth Game Controller, i would recommend using that option in combination with the App brickcontroller 2.
      2. If you like to use just you smartphone, as you wrote, the App BuWizz ist the way to go. Don't worry, the App will work with the control+ motors and hub of the 42100 Set.
      Finally Here comes the explanation on how to get the BuWizz Profile you downloaded onto your Phone:
      First you download the .zip-file (It is the other file that is free to download on rebrickable after you purchased the pdf-instructions) to your mobile device and save it somewhere on the device. It is important that you do NOT unzip the file. When you have installed BuWizz, you open the app and tap in the Icon with the three lines:

      drive.google.com/file/d/1CW0HB-7j8d3-1AG_Q7qgtXIq9cYxQxH1/view?usp=drivesdk
      Now, you need to navigate to the location on your mobile device, where you stored the .zip-file in the beginning and select it. That is typically your download-folder...:
      drive.google.com/file/d/1CYCJoRJOn8q6oKFAABn3IQp97Ut5kHSJ/view?usp=drivesdk

      drive.google.com/file/d/1CZdeOMZvm2Kv8g430Nc1sXKcjcGhVt8m/view?usp=drivesdk
      Now, you open the Profile by tapping on it and connect to the Control+hub by selecting it after tapping in the bottom right field called "Link BuWizz Outputs"
      After the hub is connected, everything should work.
