Thank you! What a great video about this car. I get the feeling how it would be to drive it. And you gave us many details about it. Great!
Yes, this car charges a bit slow, but it is very efficient which weighs out the slow charging and the smaller battery compared to the 50 kWh cars in my opinion and I think it has a larger trunk than a Zoe or an e-208 and it has an adaptive speed control which the Zoe does not have.
So it's a good car as long as you don't drive 500km or more every weekend or so. But still it's not cheap.

Thank you. No idea about the Kona.

Hi, nice videos about the Ioniq. My car makes the same Vess like noise when accelerating between 50 and 70. Did you figure out what it was? Is it a feature or is something broken?

Excellent video of how the Ioniq drives 😎. At 12:35 that app shows the GPS speed clearly; which app is that 🤔?

    • @BatteryLife

Thanks. App is called Speedometer. Android App.

Thanks Chris ; what is your preference, the Ioniq or the model 3? Would you even consider the Ioniq instead of the ID3?

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

For myself M3, because of long distance driving. Id.3 also.
But for someone who is only doing a long trip every 2 month, the Ioniq makes more sense.

You had so much fun with this Car. Now, you driven many other Cars, would you have so much fun instead?

It is still a good car, but a bit obsolete now.

Mick Cartwright How soon can you purchase one?

@@gwarlow Hi, I pre ordered one in May last year, but this virus has forced me into early retirement and to cancel the order, I'm now waiting for the Kona.
They are due (pre virus date) July- August 2020, but i'm sure there will be delays, of course you can pre-order.

I had a test drive in one yesterday. Had seen your videos before so that was good prep. No "weird noise" in the one I drove - at least I didn't hear any. Could never find the "nice" consumption screen during 30 mins of driving - had to get the dealer to show me when I got back - would never have got there on my own! Car was reluctant to adopt smart cruise mode (dirty sensor suggested the dealer). Every time I changed driving mode the regen went to 0 "annoying". Often the paddles refused to respond or at least it said paddle mode not available?? I have a Passat GTE and on the evidence of my drive this car does not compare favourably due to niggly things like what I've mentioned. Maybe it was just a bad example but it is a dealer demonstrator??

You cansave regen levels to each drive mode.

@@BatteryLife OK, the Owner must have done that but it sure confuses a first driver!
