I took care of my grandmother who lived to be 103 and my father is 83 years old so I take care of both of them until she passed away in May 15 of 2023 so I understand how you feel about your father, the same way I feel about my grandmother people were saying that we should put her in a nursing home that it was too much for us but we wouldn’t do it. She got the best care right here in her home with her family. Nobody in our family came to help. They only came to a funeral where we took care of everything the Bitchuary, the casket, the close she was so thin and frail. It broke my heart when she passed and I’m still growing my hair back where I was losing it from stress because of her passing. I also took care of my mother who died in 2017, while living in my apartment and I just went home to get clothes and I took care of my grandmother from 2017 to her passing in 2023

My friend had an aunt who had terminal cancer. It went into remission for 7 years, but came back far more aggressive and she ended up passing away after fighting it the second time for a year. I've never heard of a jury in a divorce case though.

I think she was wrong about her attitude in regards to the father but if he withdrew his attention and then came back with he was also withdrawing his money which was how he showed his love from never saying no before, it would cause her to panic. And he also wanted her to contribute when she has not worked for years that is frightful to someone who didn't have working experience. I think when called his friend (the lawyer) he was already going to divorce her and he wanted to leave on the high ground and leave her with nothing. I know this sounds like I am on the wife's side but I am not. I took care of my mother and she didn't have a recovery. So I know she didn't act right towards but OP withdrew from her then punished her for traits he knew she had.

Why is there a jury? Been to many courts and never to a jury trail of a jury. OP just pulled out the dying father (who is no longer dying) please. OP knew her better than this, he lived with her for years. Maybe she knew her father in law did not like her and she wanted her husband's attention not share it with a fil who disliked her.
