    Story :-
Op was estranged from his family as a result of his relationship with a manipulative and toxic lady. As a result of his experience, he decides to get kids via a surrogate but makes up his mind against getting married. His son gets entangled with a girl at the age of sixteen, and Op is against it because his son is young and without a job. The whole thing gets more serious when Op discovers that the mother of his son's girlfriend is his high school ex-girlfriend. This makes Op strongly kick against the union. Op's son remains stubborn and allows himself to be influenced by Op's ex-girlfriend. The goal is to get Op to approve of the wedding and thereby giving them access into the family where they could get access to Op's money
In a bid to compel Op to give his permission, his son gets his girlfriend pregnant. Op remains resolute in his decision to not let his son get married to his ex-girlfriend's daughter, and he even refuses to support them financially. His son comes up to tell him that the wedding date had been fixed and he needed his own share of the inheritance as he could not wait for Op to die. Op decides to strike his son's name off his will and make his daughter the sole heir to his property. He gets a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend and demands his son get a job, or he would throw him out once he turns eighteen.

I think OP is doing the right thing as I don’t trust Anita not to try and have OP bumped off knowing that Ken will get half the inheritance and she will be able to manipulate Ken for money so OP cutting Ken off from his allowance and the will Anita might show her true colours and suddenly get her Daughter to get rid of the baby and Ken as just him having a low earning job won’t make enough money for her and he will hopefully end up Ken going home single .

@@seabreeze4559 Hmmmm, perhaps you are right, but family is more about behavior than just blood ties. However children should never feel like they owe their parents for bringing them into this world. If anything we owe them an apology at the least since the world is turning into a huge mess. I’d like to think that we were excellent parents to our two kids. I worked hard and so did my wife. Sometimes I made more from my VA retirement check than I did actually working. I made every parent teacher conference,Taekwondo class, cheerleader event, flag football, award ceremony.etc. My wife also tried to make them as well. Both now have college educations, my daughter has a very good job, unfortunately my son followed in my footsteps. He joined the Air Force, he wanted to be a cook. I tried to get him to go into the Navy but he wanted to be in the Air Force since his mom was a retired Master Sergeant. While I joined the Army at 16 and turned 17 in basic training and medically retired at 28.He was sent to a small Army FOB in Afghanistan. He was medically retired at 28. The Army made him train everyday, and would close the small chow hall (my son was the only cook) and use him as a straight leg Infantry soldier. They also made him a M240 gunner. He ended up getting medically retired at 28. Still he has a good job as well. They both are married and have children, and they live with about 1.5 miles away. Both of them when starting out have lived for free in one of our rentals. We routinely have our grandchildren come over and are a major part of their lives. We have a 12f, 11m, 10m and a 2m. Right now the house is crowed because their two cousins (on my wife’s side) are here. So we have two 12f, one 11m, two 10m and one 2m in our four bedroom house. We raised them both with lots of love and affection, my daughter used to ride on the back of my Harley in Japan. She would jump off and press the crosswalk button, then run back and jump on. My son didn’t enjoy riding on the back and routinely feel asleep. The 1st time he did that we had to take off a few belts and strapped him on me. He would not stay awake. I believe they know we lied to them about an inheritance. We told them that a portion will be left to them, but a larger portion to the grandchildren. Neither really seem to care, we opened savings accounts for all the grandchildren and have contributed every month. We have two kids that turned out a step or three ahead of us, and we love them, although I had to explain the difference between love and like once or twice.

Well what happens to ken either he gets cheated on or abandon/swindled he deserves it for being a fool getting involved with his dad’s terrible ex’s family besides I’m sure the kid isn’t his anyway plus let’s see if she’ll stick around since he won’t be getting no inheritance I’m most certain there true colors will unveil and he’ll regret ever being stupid in the first place

It has all the earmarks of the OP's ex having kept up with him (it's not really that hard), had a daughter with some random guy (who quickly dumped her), then finding out that her, now well off, former target had a son near the daughter's age (it would be interesting to find out if they had tried this swindle previously), they cooked up the scheme between them to drain the father dry.
Grifters will go to great lengths, especially when there's the possibility of large sums of money involved.
The OP saw through this, and took the appropriate actions!

Ken just needs to first , get a job, second move out of his father's house , third open his eyes. If they do have that child, Anita seem like someone who is capable of taking care of all of them. My question is did Anita's child support stop when her daughter turned 18? But Ken's father feeling may change when he sees the grandchild, that he can be part of Ken's life , but keep Anita out. But of course marrying so young the divorce rate is high. But either way watch your back with Anita

I'm a parent. My children knew, if they were big and bad enough to walk all over our leadership and go out and jump into the deep end of the pool of adult choices and responsibilities after they've been warned not to go there, then they would be the ones handling all of the consequences that result from their choices. We began when they were little teaching that privileges come after responsibilities. Everytime they tried to take privileges or perogatives that they had not earned by being responsible, they had to deal with the natural consequences. That is how humans learn to be Reasonable, Responsible, Rational, Respectable (as in worthy of respect), human beings. It also teaches the Cause and Effect Balence of Human Interaction. Good parents make their kids have this down rock solid before High School.

First, get a paternity test to ensure the son is the father. Second, the OP is doing the right thing. His son decided he was man enough to get a girl pregnant, it's time to learn what it means to be a man and father and support them with his own blood sweat and tears. OP is not responsible for the actions of his son and I don't think the GF is responsible for the actions of her mother. That boy is about to find out how difficult life can be, but he has a chance to work hard and make something of himself.

OP needs to tell Anita that his son has been disinherited, the only child support will be what Ken earns himself, there will be a paternity test required -- from a facility OP"s lawyer chooses, OP will not pay one cent toward the wedding or wedding expenses, and that Ken will be served an eviction notice on his eighteenth birthday giving him thirty days to pack his belongings and move out of the home and off the property. Also, try yo get s trstraining order against Anita and her daughter once the paternity test is done, especially if Ken is the father.

I agree with OP, until they started to show signs of helping them selves, I personally would cut him off. Op has only taken him out of the Will ( I'm sure he consulted his lawyer before he got there & play along with him to show his son he will not be getting anything due to the MIL) to show him he means business. This will soon shock his son to his senses that dad means it. I feel the baby is not his any way, as he was warned the first day he started school about her, but she said"don't listen to them as they were jealous of her" being told that, he should of done a runner. So yes Op has done the right thing! I'm sure now don't blow your trump here guys, her mum will not let her keep the baby with no financial support from Op. I do feel for his son, but when it comes to his partner, the apple don't fall from her mothers tree. Nothing is free in this day & age. So stick to your guns Op, this will be over as soon as the futureMIL finds out there's no allowance or gain from his WILL. mx

Go, dad go! It wasn’t an accident, it was by true love and choice. What the heck is the matter with him he can get a job. I had a job at his age with a visual imitation! He needs a taste of the real world. However, when he comes and asked for your forgiveness when everything blows up in his face be like everyone else on this site. Don’t throw him away, gradually take him back into your life. Once a father, always a father, once a mother, always a mother. Good luck.

  • @LordGertz

Did he really get her pregnant? Personally I would want a paternity test. I would not agree to a teenage wedding, heck I think we should raise the marriage age to 25. If its true love they will wait, but it sure would cut down on the divorce rate. Anita is looking for that golden ticket. And yes I know of several teenage pregnancies, a few were given up for adoption, but most of my peers back in the day were told to get a job & balance school w/ childcare. I only knew of 1 person kicked out and only 2 marriages at the time of birth. Both of those got divorced. Another couple coparented and got married after the went to college. Still ended in divorce.
OP is tacking the right path. I might have been willing to help a little with college as long as there was no wedding. You get married, you have formed your own family and nobody owes you anything, they may be nice and give, but it isn't owed.
