It’s a a cruel sort of irony that music such as these beautiful gentle souls create has to be performed in venues of such magnitude that that they need a PA system just to be heard over the din. Last summer I heard them at Britt in Jacksonville OR. You could have heard a pin drop, even though there were many hundreds of people there. I am glad though that these venues exist to support great music.
Hello from the UK, thanks for a wonderful show. Have loved your music for a couple of years, first time I have seen this show. Hopefully you will be back in the UK again.
This was great! I think it became my new fav watchhouse concert! Tech difficulties esp the lighting made this a special recording. Please never take it down!
@@JasonNew Yes, that's exactly right. Kevin matrixed the sound. There were several loud sounds that were muted out. In between songs the volume is decreased to give the ears a rest as well.
@@JasonNew Yeah there were some loud explosions from what was attributed to a bad rental snake, took those out so we won't be hearing those again. Why bands try to bring their own equipment to GrassRoots is a mystery to me..ask their soundman Mark Alspaugh
Agree @JasonNew Just watched this tonight for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Loved the uniqueness of the lights and tech issues. Adds a little personality to the show. Always love that.

When it goes quiet, did you edit out a loud noise or something? If so, appreciate it but curious.@@johnsipple4113

Wow these two have really blossomed into underground rockstars. Kickass
Really? From informally meeting Emily and Andrew, i'd say they've done very well avoiding any egomania. IMHO, key to their character.

They are coming back to Shakori Hills in May!Can't wait!
I can't wait !!!
I enjoy their Duo sets, but the full band is on another level. Thank you for uploading this one.
Medicine for the soul.....they make magic
Yes they do !!!
Where’s this been hiding? nice - thanks.
Why isnt Emily playing fiddle anymore? Her voicing and feel were one of the things that drew me to these guys. Golden Embers in particular. 😥
I was wondering the same for a long time. I hope she picks up the fiddle again.
I love the way she plays it.
...Or gilligan's island?
That's not Joe Westerlund on the drums...
Do you happen to know the name of the drummer? Thank you for letting me know.
@@johnsipple4113Jamie Dick on drums and Nat Smith on keys and cello

I think that's Dr Steve Brule
