Have been following these guys as a duo for many years, and thought it was about as good as music could get. But now hearing and seeing them with a full band - and such a good one at that -- just takes it to a whole other level. I am continuously amazed at the level of talent here.
Was just recently exposed to this group. I find their duality catalytic, and their sum much greater than their parts! The subtleness of their vocal dynamism is so precious. So glad that they’ve discovered life and marriage together - and now children! I hope they keep it up forever! Thanks ‘MO!’ 🥰
I have never heard anything like M.O. These two are incredible and have quickly become my new favorites. Hopefully they will get to Upstate New York sometime in the future. I would love nothing more than to see them live in person. Just beautiful music and such meaningful lyrics. Cheers!
They were at Grey Fox (E, Durham NY) in 7/19, and at Green Mt Bluegrass + (Manchester VT) in 8/17 & 8/18. You'll find vids of them here. Hopefully they can return summer '21.

What was "just" with the "Chicks"? (Notice the drop of "Dixie"?) I'm pretty sure that if they felt any need of your counsel, they'd have asked. Avoid arrogance.

Such a sweet sound from these two, highly talented musicians, I fell in love with them a year ago and have bought all their albums.
i discovered them today. Totally immersed in their music.
You might also like the music of Pharis & Jason Romero - they kind of remind me of Mandolin Orange - who I just love also.
Thank you. Peace! (Buy the albums, keep them rolling, people!)

They are playing for free in Brooklyn with the Jayhawks next week! Going to be a great show.

So great -- born in Connecticut, spent years in CA and Floyd County VA and 25 years in Savannah. They still call me a yankee -- like I care.
These folks are the real deal. Thanksfor bein!
Even their protest songs are melodiously beautiful .

I'd totally purchase this performance if available. What a show.
it's a shame I can't "like" the video more than once. I realy love this band since I first heard them.
I know I've been hounding you about these, but thank you so much for reposting these, +evenstev!!!
Enjoy!
Can't wait to see them in Paris in a few months!
Imagine a bluegrass festival and expecting cookies, but ending up with pie.
Sorta what happened @ GreyFox '19. Very warmly received. Some fellow volunteers encountered a new favorite.
Have they won any Grammy awards yet.
They have not. Worse yet, I don't even think nominated. Mind-boggling, and a sad commentary on what kind of music gets recognized, and what doesn't.
Can someone help with the name of the tune that starts just after 17:00. Searching bandcamp for it w/out luck so far....
Lines on the Floor (nevermind) I can't get enough of this song. Hella tune and performance. The man from Tennessee just KILLS it.
you could add 5k viewers if you posted lyrics
A sea of dancing baseball caps...........
To the band: Play good music and avoid political commentary. Remember the just treatment of the Dixie Chicks.
They are free to comment as they see fit. You don't have to listen to them. Man up and use your real name when you make this kind of a post.
Lol. Have you even listened to their songs?
What happened to free speech? Is that in the past now?
