- Addendum: 5:03 of the video I mention how the Main Out and Volume are one and the same but I just spoke to Softube and they notified me that if you hold SHIFT while turning "Volume" you can adjust a separate internal output volume. This will clean up your workflow considerably. Blessings!

Hey man love the content
I just got mine dude and you taught me some things Thanks
You with Softube? Let’s Go @touchtoneDSG
@@thatlogicproguy yeah man I got a lot of their stuff
@@thatlogicproguy but I'm not sponsored or anything about them
What I really miss on the whole Softube ecosystem is a real high-res jogwheel with a proper transport section. And here is were IMHO most all control surfaces fail,; and that is that there is no edit functions by the jog wheel, only playback functions (which you do just as quick by using a keyboard and mouse) The only surface I´ve tried that actually made this 100% right was Yamaha Nuage(which is MUCH more expensive); Right next to the high-res jog-wheel on the Nuage there is dedicated knobs for fade in/fade out, trim end/trim start, Move clip, Clip gain and much more. One thing that is extremely nice on Console 1 is that you can flip phase directly on the channel with a dedicated button. I dont understand why many DAW`s don't have flip phase directly on the channel strip? In both Logic and Pro Tools you need to pull up a plugin to flip the phase (which is kind of an essential function on a console). All in all I really dig the console 1 eco-system, I own the Console 1mk1 and have not tried MK3 yet. I am sort of on the fence between this and the UF8 + UC1 + UF1 combo....I´m sort of scared away of control surfaces. I have previously owned Avid S3, and that expensive unit , which looked really impressive on my desk, was not doing anything for my workflow. Everything was quicker with just the mouse and keyboard....
Very insightful mate. I use UF8 and a stream deck to achieve nudging, fades, and clip gain. So many choices. So curious to see how you progress mate.
Can’t wait to see the fader mk3
What do you think they will add?
@@thatlogicproguy I think the steps of resolution will be incredible.
I would love to see how this integrates with logic itself. Logic plugins, automation, track stacks, routing, etc.. also 3rd party plugins
It certainly integrates with other DAW’s a little bit better but it does control volume, pan, and sends 1-6 very easily (a lot easier than UF8)
Visual focus I mean!
Hi, do some buttons react with "click" and some don't? I have got mk3 for about a month and it is one thing that bothers me. Great video and music.
You are spot on dude. Never really noticed but the track buttons are clicky while the rest kind of click. Appreciate the support!
Do you know if the software plugin comes with the $899 unit, or do I have to buy the software separately? Thanks!
Certainly comes with it.
Great video. more focus on the product would have been appreciated.
Totally right sir. Working on getting a 2nd camera for that reason. Currently just using iPhone (1080p). Appreciate the feedback.
What’s all that other stuff playing with the Cajon?
Hey there. Nylon string guitar, E bass, tambo, shaker, cajon, and a mellotron type synth sound. Maybe an afuche cabasa as well
@@thatlogicproguy thanks. i meant the percussion around the Cajon at 2:25 sounds really good.
