This was one of the Best Short Movies i‘ve ever seen. Every single one of these movies has changed my life forever. Some of them took me months or years to accept the truth that I’ll never see a sequel with the same actors (GoT, ect).

Brad Pitt was born to cast as Achilles.
Greek who’s been reading the Iliad since I was 5 years old, I could never picture anyone better. He’s a little older than Achilles in the story, but he embodied him pretty much exactly like he was in the story, from looks, to mannerisms, to fighting prowess. There hasn’t been a better version since and I doubt there will be in the years to come.

Millions upon millions dead through the course of history because of differences such as race and religion, conquering was the way the world was shaped, but when you zoom out and see the destruction of human life it took to get to this, it is truly heart breaking.

Medieval warfare is Glorious. rage,fear,glory, all jumbled together.
warfare in those times was more fair than modern warfare. back then it was more about fighting skill and real strategic knowledge , there were no sudden victories at the push of a button, no unskilled person could just squeeze a trigger and kill a trained soldier etc. thats just my opinion

@@MsBetke Actually, the vast majority of people involved in war did not have that much skill. Your average infantrymen has immensely more battle skill than the vast majority of past soldiers. War was a number of things, but it's always been farmers killing farmers for a thug offering "protection." The thug just grows up into governments.
Gladiator is my favorite stand-alone movie ever made. It reins supreme in so many ways

I’m serious, I’m watching this video for the past 2 weeks. Everything is so smoothly transitioned and fits well. The soundtrack, scenes, dialogues. Gives a manly feeling and also makes us contemplate about the sacrifices soldiers have made.

This is an amazing tribute to those who have fought, those who have died, those who lived on, those who came home, those who did not.
I know there is a time and a season for everything. I time to laugh, a time to weep. A time to love, a time to hate, A time for Peace and a time of war. I realize this is a time to stand and do battle, but I am praying for the time we can beat our swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks. Though it is not today, I am praying for that day. It doesn't show ANY Honor, No Bravery, No Courage, No Respect, No Loyalty!
Modern war is NOTHING like the war our ancestors fought in,
Modern war is NOTHING but dishonor, Cowardice, Betrayal!
And worst of all?
It's never going to go back to the way it was.
It's never going to go back to the time when humans fought for a chance to be honored in the afterlife.
And I cry over the fact that I'll be one of the only ones to fight and win my honor in battle.
I'm no soldier, but i can tell you there's still plenty of honor, bravery, respect and courage in nowadays war. Just dont get drunk over tells of the warriors of the past. War have always been that ugly thing, image of the worst of humanity can offer. The reasons people fight have always been the same, good or bad.
