Americans blew up lone houses in fields from afar on random "testing" them for volksturm, eventough there could be and would be civilians there, they did this in France aswell. The Brits disguised military ships as civilian ships, and whenever a German u-boat spotted said boat, they had to follow the custom of the sea, where they would surface and warn the civilians and tell them to get out of the warzone, but the Brits used this to instead massacre the German U-boat, whenever it surfaced. @@Sam-ed7jf there are things worse than death. Death is scary but torture is worse, being sold on the black market to be experimented on and enslaved is worse. Mental torture of being a soldier is worse, once all the orders stop, the war ends and the brainwashing wears off, it will hit them hard. War destroys both sides only few really evil humans come out unscarred.
You’re a coward, the worst part of it is the millions of innocents that get killed, the millions of soldiers that die slowly and in agony, PTSD is horrible, but having your lungs melt from chemical gassed or being burned alive or having your legs blown off are far worse.
Ikr, I used to ask myself: "What if humans didn't need to eat, sleep, or drink? If people didn't need jobs or money to survive... what would be the motivation to keep living if living itself is very easy"
That's a self refuting statement. If nothing makes any exact sense, that statement in it of itself makes exact sense to you. Therefore something does actually make sense to you.
Hawkeye: War isn’t Hell. War is war, and Hell is Hell. And of the two, war is a lot worse. Father Mulcahy: How do you figure that, Hawkeye? Hawkeye: Easy, Father. Tell me, who goes to Hell? Father Mulcahy: Sinners, I believe. Hawkeye: Exactly. There are no innocent bystanders in Hell. War is chock full of them - little kids, cripples, old ladies. In fact, except for some of the brass, almost everybody involved is an innocent bystander.
Seeing this it reminds me of something i always felt when visiting memorial sites, war graveyards or other monuments to war. We all owe so much to the people in generations before us, suffering a uncountable amount. Fighting for freedom, every man on the field thinking he is fighting for the "right" side. Becoming someone you never thought you can be, someone horrible but yet in a weird way honorable. Living in peace in the western world with all the perks modern life brings - most importantly the choice, the choice not to become a soldier, the choice not to murder, the choice not to become someone you do not want to be, for (in your eyes) the greater good. Having the freedom to live our lives exactly as we want to, we must cherish. We must be thankful to all those who lost their lives. No matter which "side". No matter which ideology or thinking they pursued. There are some warcrimes we never must forget, we must learn out of history to not let it repeat itself. I think with that we honor the lives of them the most. They fought so we dont have to. So we shouldnt. Under no circumtance.
Never underestimate the suffering of the enemy. They have thier horror stories too, they have thier reasons too, they have thier patriotic moments too, they...us...we....them... Wars are fought on ideas and philosophy.
My great grandfather was a soldier in ww2 he saw horrible things happen to his friends and he made it back . He and millions of others died or fought for us. That will be in my heart forever. He died when I was three and I only remember him from videos. I’m in middle school now but they were the brave ones
“War is random. It doesn’t matter where you stand you could still get hit.” My great grandpa said that after he told storys about how he was talking to a friend an hour latter that friend was lying dead in his arms and another one where this 16 year old kid was shot throw the arm and the medic ran to get him Boom kid was missing his legs and the medic missing his head. Who’s fucking idea was it to make hell fun?! Who’s genius plan was it to make kids say “I got 12 kills!” when vets get nightmares about that guy he had the unfortunate job to shoot. Long live peace!
my uncle got a similar story, he was a guard on a post in the trench as soon as his friend came to relieve him of his post, the guy stepped up and immediately got shot thru the head. My uncle only heard the sound of the bullet impact and turned around to see his friend fell down he only told that story once when I was young, but I still remember it after years
Video games are not how they used to be. They were supposed to teach us something. How war can be horrible and a situation where you see what man can do. Now all it’s about is how many kills can you get.
The unfortunate part is that peace is one of the reasons war exists. Very few people can actually live in a peaceful world. Sadly, it's against human nature. It's in a few articles, certified by psychologists, you can find via Google. It is very sad, but the truth.
The way he talks about the boy getting hit with the tank shell makes me shiver. You can hear the fear in his voice. No human being deserves to experience what these soldiers have
I lost my great grandad a while back now he was a navigator in a Sunderland bomber and I could imagine the hell he went through when he was on bombing mission.I could imagine him saying as he goes “ I’m coming boys”. at last he can rest with his crew
People are starting to forget about these heroes who died and fought for our lives and fought for our family , pls put some respect on them and never forget what they did for us
My father asked me if I was truly ready to go to war. He told me that the good soldier kills without thinking his enemy as another human being. I was a good soldier. God help me.
You probably saw other people copying and making up fantastic quotes. I felt it man, you had to copy from a GAME specifically BF5 to make one up. It's like having PTSD during an exam, afraid that you might get a terrible GPA.

Lol don’t say that , that’s the most disrespectful thing you can do if you’re lying

Roger Escalera you think they got to choose to go to war ? No they didn’t they got made to go fight
It’s true … soldiers fight for those who benefit from wars, while they think that they are fighting for the people.
ohhjxshy Iam speaking in general, that no body should go to war because we fight people who we don’t know nothing about and think that they are are the “enemy “ while the so called “enemy” thinks the same about us... soldiers thinking that they are fighting for their people while we are just fighting for those who wants war and benefits from it… and if you wanna talk about nazis let’s talk! Let’s talk about who actually financed nazis!? aren’t they the same people who financed America ?!! W. Averell harriman financed Hitler and George H. W. Bush's grandfather.
if it had not been Harriman’. and Bush’s money helping Thyssen who was Hitler’s major backer, Hitler couldn’t come to power. So, what I am trying to say that the same people who sent us to war are the same ones who cause it .

"A soldier does not fight for hate of what is in front of him, but for love of what's behind him."

Who’s fucking idea was it to make hell fun?! Who’s genius plan was it to make kids say “I got 12 kills!” when vets get nightmares about that guy he had the unfortunate job to shoot. Long live peace!
my uncle got a similar story, he was a guard on a post in the trench
as soon as his friend came to relieve him of his post, the guy stepped up and immediately got shot thru the head. My uncle only heard the sound of the bullet impact and turned around to see his friend fell down
