One of the biggest things I've struggled with while owning my Osmo Mobile 3 is knowing what mode to have it in (dji mimo app) for a specific shot, when to use the trigger, when to use the joystick, etc. Not many people show these useful basics in tutorial videos!

I use the MOVI Freefly with the counter weight set daily. I don't have enough good things to say about it. I use the iPhone X paired with the moment 18mm lens, and again i can't say enough good things about the lens and gimble. Thanks Moment!!!!

I wish people would talk about what gimbal mode they are in when talking about every tip....they make it sound so simple then you try to do it and doesn’t go well. Should u be in follow mode fpv tilt lock etc.?! That would help so much....this mower just shot ideas without technically explaining them.
Know what would be nice? If You could hookup a DJI drone to your moment app. At least the mavic 2 pro, which uses your anamorphic lens. That would obviously have to be in collab with dji, but hey impossible is nothing!

How does the Osmo Modile 3 gimbal do with the Xs Max or Pro Max using the heaviest Moment lens? I have all the M series lenses and use them with the largest iPhone. Not sure if I should go with the Osmo 3. Thanks in advance!

I wish it would tell you when to hold the trigger it’s so hard to tail or if they’re just doing it freehand I find myself using the trigger to stabilize it but as I start to turn into a new room it messes everything up

hey there...good video...would be nice if you could do one showing what Edit software u guys use and the color correction methods to get the tones or color seen here....also what frame rate you guys shoot at to get those smooth transitions n flow in shots.

Can't use the telelens from my iphone 7 in the mimo app. Outside the app i can use it in apple normal video mode, but then the osmo modes don't work, need to do everything manual. I think i need filmic pro to use the tele with all the mimo modes?

I noticed they aren't using Moment Lenses, can the Osmo Mobile 3 work with the lenses? And if so, do I need to get a counterweight? That's going to be my next purchase from shopmoment.

It looks like it's too fast for the phones slow-mo feature, but slowing it down in editing makes it seem to choppy.

So question: When using the Osmo, do you still use the Moment App or the Osmo App when filming?
Both work great. I suggest trying both and choosing which feels more comfortable.
I use dji mimo app for some specific shots and normally i use my camera app when i want to customize my own shot

Dear everybody! I'm making film alone, with several cameras, and I'm just wondering, how can I manage some cameramoves without my hands / remote. I don't want to spend too much money, so robotic arms are not an option :) - the follow object, and the programmable way of moving looks interesting. maybe a little arm, on a timelapse head with the osmo on the other end can be a good option, if you've got any ideas don't afraid to write it here, thanks!
I think one camera over head and then gimbal on follow mode will work great and then you can combine both in editing
I have noticed when I use dji Mimo app sometimes the image is shaky and vibrating. While on a regular camera there is not this issue. Also when balancing the phone, the upper phone part keeps falling towards me, and when I center rear part it’s still the same. I’m not sure if it’s me or the osmo, as I read quite a few complains where the osmo was not working properly. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks 😊 🙏🏽

I have an issue with my Osmo Mobile 3, it's just not working, the status LED indicator blink red and green (That indicator mean that there is a new firmware available or firmware update failed), so I updated it a few times and nothing helps. DJI Support suggest replacement or refund. But It is so so disappointing experience!!! I just want it work!

With the Oslo Mobile 2 and Filmic Pro i could use the left W/T button to zoom or to focus but with Osmo Mobile 3 i can't do that, can you help?

You can not switch lenses in the DJI Mimo app. SECOND, the smooth zoom is not working as it jumps between 1x, 3x and 10x zoom.

Don't think so. Pretty sure the Osmo's pan feature is only accessible in the Mimo app.

Yes it does, it takes some re-adjusting and balancing, but it works.

Im usin' Osmo mobile 3.. When I go for record video via DJI mimo app it becomes dark, But the record happens normally, only that the screen goes dark Can see camera capturin' anythin', Can anybody help me out?

Smooth zoom in and out doesn't work. It jumps from 1x, to 3x, to 10x. No smooth zoom at all.
Ok now Im just on my 2st video with a gimbal ever , but I feel retarded not to be abel to get the phone right then I don't use the auto focus and spinning around a object. Any pro tips how to make it as easy as possible or its maybe just practice practice and practice, butty mobile always want to tilt 10% down or something while Im doing it =/

@@smith1459 it's just not very good it does work but it ain't great I imagine a more expensive one would be better perhaps it's because it's pretty small and not powerful enough to throw a phone around perhaps a heavier made one with a light camera would be twice as good if you know what I mean everything seems like a delayed reaction while the osmo tries to wrestle against the weight of the phone
So being stuck with the osmo mobile 2 kinda makes you feel left out 😔

Moment more like balancing issues with Anamorphic lens, went out to record, while the camera was recording, app just stopped and quit recording half of the footage I took, I had to try and re-record, then when I got home half of what I thought I had was not there.
It was and is super frustrating, and is the second occasion. 😢
