'thanks Dad' haha yeah, like 'Eat your green beans...' or like you could almost boycott the corner store because they refuse to stock Slim Jim's on your favorite shelf. Haha I bought the Moment Camera app for Android because I wanted to support a way cool American company that is willing to consider Android. I admit though I do Google's Play Pass and the Moment app is a decent tool of note in a pretty big bag I'm sure will be improving and evolving like everything else in due time, so I'm not sure why inured hypercriticism thrives. Where's the fire? Some pay more for a less-than-healthy lunch and they never allow it to cross their mind again like water under a bridge. Here and gone in a Moment that you'll wish you had Moment back for haha Selective disciplines, apparently 😁

so sick, i was deciding on a gimbal and now i know i chose the right one because i can connect it to the app too!
For these push in/slider shots, are you shooting in 60fps and moving slowly, or are you shooting 60fps, moving quickly, and slowing down 50% post?
definitely filming in 60 and post editing to 30 or 25
Can't wait for the Android Osmo update!

When will it support the freefly movi?
The zoom slider doesn’t seem to be working on mine. Does the app have limitation with iphone8+? Is that why I’m not having this functionality?

Got this update just as my Moment thin case for iPhone XS arrived - fantastic combination! I still like the ‘old’ case, but the thin one is much easier to handle with the gimbal.
Followed the setup and the workaround of resetting Bluetooth but no devices are found when trying to use with OSMO 2.
My Moment case does not fit very well in the DJI Osmo3. I am afraid it will fall out especially when I have the Anamorphic Lens attached. Is there a different set of grips or something?

Does it have to be 11 pro ?? I have the regular 11... also I always see the gimbal on the wide lens when shooting horizontally any tip for that without putting it out of balance??

Just a beginner with osmo 3 and the moments app, but I really don’t find a way to switch between the different gimbal modes from the moments app. How is this done? Do I have to do this in the mimo app and then go back and start filming in the moments app?

I can't get the Osmo connected to the app. It says connected and Gimbal appears at the bottom, but the buttons just don't react. In the Mimo app all native functions, work fine, so can't be the Gimbal itself. Where could I get some help?
I‘m always wondering why they use these super expensive cameras (as seen in one of the last shots on the tripod) when the actual equipment which they are promoting is so good?! I love Moment lenses btw. It would be great if they would use their own products to promote their own products!

What is the model of the iPhone that you're using to shoot this with?
Does the app work with the OM5? I can't get bluetooth to connect. Keeps telling me to reset bluetooth but I know it is working. Also, why does the app keep telling me that the image failed to record? That is really annoying!!! Seems to have been a problem for quite some time, judging by some of the reviews I have watched. It's not like this is a new app. These type of bugs should have been ironed out by now. I do like the advertised features of the app, but so far it's is not preforming so well for me.
Does the moment pro apps support zhiyun smooth q2? Pls do a video with zyq2

So do your lenses work with the DJI gimbal 3 and do you need a counter weight!? Been seeing a lot of new videos showing that your moment lenses do NOT work with the DJI gimbal 3 and that the lenses cause the gimbal to overheat and over work the motors!? Can we get an updated video for this year please? or does anyone who has used the lenses currently use DJI 3 gimbal and have NO issues?
Anyone else have issues with their new Filmmaker Case? Mine arrived 4 days ago and has already cracked in two different places, after zero falls or impacts. I don’t think the build quality is up to snuff. Curious to hear if anyone else has this issue.

I’ve got the Moment App and DJI Osmo Mobile 3. The Mimo app pairs and works great, but in the Moment App it says turn on Bluetooth and all the options to connect are greyed out 😔 Any tips on how I can pair the app to the DJI?!? Would love to use your app instead of the Mimo app.
Ohhh i hope you can use osmo mobile 3 with moment app. If it's impossible, it's useless to buy this apk. It's better to buy filmic pro.

where do you get the camera hood?
Went to download (and pay) for the app as soon as I saw the video, the tips were great and I wanted an option to do a little more manual work with video when using my gimbal. Very disappointed as none of the features mentioned in the video actually works on my phone when paired with my Osmo 3. FYI I have an iPhone 11 pro and both the phone and gimbal are less than 2 months old so it really should be working.. Was really hoping other things would work i.e. button at the back of gimbal for at least switching between front and back camera or even the M button changing between photo and video. Honestly can hardly say that the app is "compatible" with the gimbal when literally the only thing it can do is use the slider button to change chosen settings and switch between cameras (which again, neither are working for me)

Firstly, great video as always. Secondly, this video is 2 months old and the Moment app may have worked, but in my testing on 02/18/2020, only the pan up, down, left and right work.
I emailed support and found out it’s a known issue.
“I am able to pan up and down as well as left and right, but the M button, the zoom control, trigger, and the record buttons do not work when I am in the Moment camera app.
I’ve also gone through the troubleshooting steps provided on the support page and I am still not able to get this to work.
I’ve rebooted the phone, reset Bluetooth connections on the gimbal, and uninstalled and reinstalled the moment app.”
Reply from Erica @momentlens was received in 02/19/2020:
“...Sadly, this is a known bug in our app and we're working with DJI on a fix for an upcoming update. I apologize for the issue. In the meantime, if you want to use the Mimo app or any other app that supports the DJI OSMO 3 please do until we get a fix out.”
No ETA, but I’m sure they will get it going.

Ordered both the 14mm and the Osmo 3 from you. Is there a way to lock the shutter speed on the Moment App. It seems if I set it to 50 for a frame rate of 24, and I try to keep the ISO as low as possible I sometimes need to adjust the EV to get the correct lighting and that causes everything to change.

Nice tips guys. Will future update allow us to turn off the digital image stabilization? Having it turned on while on a gimbal gives for an ugly jittery effect.
