😭 I tried to modify the dji mobile 2, but it still couldn't match what I was thinking. I should reprogram the chip. But I can't. 🤣🤣🤣
You can actually use the FPV mode to create some inception like shots! I’m looking to make a video about those soon!
There are so many problematic issues from the comments below, from iPhone 7 phones not working with it and locks not working. Maybe it’s time someone did a channel on just fixing these issues.
I’ve bought myself an iPad Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Osmo 3 combo so I can start vlogging in 2020! Can’t wait to put all three together.

Hey there. I’ve been in the market for a gimbal for the last week to film my classes at our dance studio. I was debating between the smooth 4, pivo pod, and this dji osmo 3. This video sold me on the dji osmo and I just bought one today. The built in tripod and active tracking 3.0 is exactly what I need. We may not subscribe to your channel or follow you but after watching a few of your videos to get educated, we just wanted to let you know that you do great work and hope that these companies compensate you well for what you do.

Just got DJI Osmo 3. Can't wait to put it to the test on a hiking trip next weekend. Just discovered your channel. Hope to learn a lot to get epic shots
Just did. Got my hands on it yesterday and is great. It is so portable now. Have a sling shot bag and now I can fit the gimbal easily plus tripod, mobile lens and wallet, phone etc. The great thing of foldable design is that now it stays fixed. Before I had to use elastic band to stop the arm to move around. the gesture mode is great but love how now you can with two 3 taps change from rear camera to front or with two taps on front button from portrait to landscape. And how now you can really charge your phone while using because the arm doesn't block the usb slot. I bought a Osmo mobile 2 3 months ago but so worth the money on new version. My advice do like me sell it on ebay and buy new one.

Great vid I bought the DJI mobile osmo 3 a year and a half ago, put it in storage for a year and now it's starting to use it all over again, it will be used on my TH-cam channel exclusively. I wish I had purchased the travel case and tripod feature though, but great device for problem-free simple video recording.

I've been rocking with the Osmo 2 for a little over a year now. I just purchased the Osmo 3 a couple of days ago and I am blown away by the myriad of improvements to a platform that I already loved for its functionality and usability. Great video.

Excellent review and you have reinforced my decision to return the Hohem gimbal the same day I received it and order the DJI OSMO 3. I have also "Subscribed" to your channel because I found your incites and delivery to be very helpful for a "beginner" to this very fun, for me, hobby! At age 73 I don't have a lot of time to waste on a looooong learning curve. And why would I want to when I have folks like you out there sharing their knowledge and hard learned experiences!? Got this in yesterday and totally agree with you about all the plus. Esp the tripod. I have seen someone selling the stand which is just like a plastic square thing for 7 - 14 Euro (I live in Germany), now thinking about what's going to happen if there's windy... that little square thing won't hold it for sure. I'm glad I got the combo set.

Hey EMT, great review. I do have a question though regarding the App and was wondering if you could shed some light onto my question.
The App seems to only film at 4k 30fps as the highest resolution and fps for android therefore when slowing it down in after production it's not as good as when filming with the native app that films 4k 60fps.
The problem I have when using the native app is that the follow function for the gimble then doesn't work. So this makes the 3 awesome film techniques that in a way require follow very challenging.
Lastly Auto zoom when filming with the rear camera and follow on would be great when trying to film sports where the subject moves towards and away from you. Have I missed the auto zoom function?
I think your video is excellent! I'm on the market for my very first gimbal and was really keen on this OM3. Since the OM4 is out now, I could get a pre-owned OM3 for about $70 or less.

Big Question! I'm a left handed person and was wondering if they have some way of reversing the arm travel so I can shoot with the left hand? I can shoot right but my left arm is my strong arm.
