That's a very good idea but I think he is not going to play like hard-core maps, like he is an og on the mindustry community, not a pro but if he do, it will probably be fun to watch him suffer lol
He finally realized what he's up against! Tips: use tanks. They are op rushers they prove useful in enemy bases. Pay more attention to waves and enemies in the map. Try to be efficient with resources, as they run out fast.
I hope he sees that lol. I loved seeing him learn how strong the core units can be, and how annoying an enemy AI that can respawn as fast we can, can be.
@@stormcmmdr1412 speaking of enemy ai, another tip: In the later sectors, there are lots of places where enemies can come from which is hard to defend 3 places and manage resources at base. Make use of blockages and the death corridor defence, which utilizes the enemy ai to go for the weakest defence like a open hole or a smaller wall, building a corridor with lots of turrets (in this mod, mainly singes) near the wall, the enemies walk in and die which is helpful in most sectors in this mod in particular.
I second the tanks. They are fast, fairly durable, have great range(from T2 on onwards), and can be pumped out rather quickly. Since they also tend to have AOE damage at the end of their attack ranges, I've found a great strategy to be manually controlling them, sitting on the very very edge of enemy turret ranges, and blasting at the walls to weaken them. It's "technically" out of range, so the tank AI won't fire, but manually firing lets the AOE damage impact the walls, and either destroy them, heavily weaken them, or get rid of any repair nodes too close to the frontline. T2 hovercraft are great if spammed, but once you get into the later parts of the mod, they aren't durable enough for how low their range tends to be. Meanwhile the tanks can just keep blasting away, especially the tier 5 one. If you can get even just one T5 tank out and use that max range strat, it can break into any base, since even if the sniper turrets can still hit it, it is more than durable enough to tank several shots before retreating to a unit repair node to heal. Though, with walling off be careful. The enemy always tries to go for the shortest route, but takes into account the durability of walls for that pathing. If you wall off one route, and then make a death tunnel on another, if that tunnel is too long or would force the enemy units to walk too far, they can instead just go for the walled off bit and destroy it to get in. Making a blockade with at least 2 spaces covered in wall or terrain tends to make that happen less, but it can still occasionally happen.
Nice one firefly and i see youve improved alot With the new optional sectors you could potentially do some challenges, to spice things up (things are already spicy but those sectors shouldnt be too troublesome)
Just a tip. Shannong are just good for early assaults. They are fast, cheap and can rip defence pretty fast (as long as it doesn't have crowd control turrets). Make sure to make a lot of them.
“Which turret do I need to craft this?”
“The gray one”
Idk but I always see why something broken and I fix it fast
This choice of turrets is nothing for me.
What about a new series where you try to beat maps made by viewers (or popular hard challenge maps)
that would be fun (i make maps often if im bored)

"let's defend from the northernmost choke point, wall off the other points"
we're talking telepathically
11:04 great.. RTS Ai. It attacks strategically, targeting the least defended thing or building up a stupidly big force before attacking
It loves to shoot drills
@@gavindasher9356 Close, they like to harm production as much as possible. basically enemy stells in aegis
Basically it's a player with a decent amount of brain cells for attacking

Enemy base be like:
LISTEN HERE YOUR LITTLE SHIV
The walker core unit emits shield recharge wave to nearby units, as in they gain bonus HP. This lets them take a lot more damage.
28:55 "let's get our shenong down there" 💀
12:43 They are letting you to defend your core
Later in game... Lodegones 💀💀💀
