For the people asking for a wave 1000 : Funny enough if you look at the datas of for this map, the maximum unit number the enemy can have is at wave 503 (and it's like 1 more than 481 which is the biggest one before 500) so going further will be the same stuff on loop.

Challenge Idea: Get 1 mil Power/Second on a sector 1) Don't be lame and spam only one kind of power gen (RTGs I'm looking at you) 2) Also get 100 mil in saved power - This one is debatable because I don't know if 100 mil is possible with limited space 3) Only use Power Based Weapons when defending the sector (or attacking if you are doing that) 4) Try to build more support air units (Polys, Megas, Quads, Octs) to help you build 5) Don't Overdrive/Overdome any reactors - This is to prevent you from just building like 10 impact reactors and then Overdoming then to get 1 mil power - You can still Overdrive/Overdome your cryo mixers and stuff

Takes a bit of effort to get them running again once they shut down too as you now have a huge base to power (hint: one line of power out so you can disconnect). I started placing a battery bank with a few steam generators near them...just in case. Though a diode and battery bank is probably a quicker way to jump start it and figured out what went wrong.

You especially won't be able to build walls the way you use to. Any kind of (liquid) transport will turn almost impossible. And it is forbidden to expand your core with vaults. Though this is not going to matter because you can't unload from the core. You will obiously need exports to get started, but you can both attempt an enemy base or a "normal" sector. I really appreciate your content and like to see you suffer in this wonderful game.
7:00 numero uno reason to get diodes 😂 It will let you power the impact reactor setup and all of its components (you do have to watch the wiring) and even if you overdraw the power it will always power the setup first while eveything else will work at reduced capacity.
Actually, no, the toxopids are not doing any real (direct) damage What's huge about them is the sapped effect, sapped ennemies are so weak you can squish them and since the toxopids are sapping ennemies they die instantly to the rest of the defense ^^

With how effective those T5's were on defence, I'm wondering now if you could do a high threat sector with only units for defense? Might make for a cool challenge!

When you have 24 corvus' using processors to snipe at max range, and retreating back to the core as things get closer than their range, nothing gets through. Everything else is superfluous.
