    I suffered a pilon fracture to my ankle years ago and still suffer from stiffness and pain. Was looking at this brace for some support and relief, but I'm glad you pointed out that it did nothing for your sprain. Glad I checked this review!

    Aryse has a great video on how to put it on. It’s not that difficult to put it on and after seeing you struggle putting it on and taking it off I’m wondering if you were even using it properly. There is a specific way to tighten that makes a big difference. At first when I was testing it out I wasn’t impressed but reached out to Aryse and they sent a video on how to make the most of the brace. After tightening properly I liked the brace a lot more

    I’m a PT at a hospital for 23 years, we do not call ourselves doctors despite our DPT degrees. For two reasons, doctors here are more associated with physicians and secondly, it’s damn cringey bruh

    I had a bad ankle injury 8 years ago and i'm fully recovered now. Looking for something to prevent myself from getting injured again, would this be a good option for that purpose?

    • @ForTeamTang

      Something like this may help, but every situation is its own case. That being said, it is probably more of a part of a prevention plan that would include a strength program and technique optimization.

    I'd like to see you do a review on the older brace from Adidas the adiZero SpeedWrap.

    • @ForTeamTang
      @ForTeamTang  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I looked up the sleeve. Without getting too much detail into it, from initial impressions looks like it a compression garment with slight stability. In my opinion I think the IFAST would be comparable and probably better than speedwrap if performance is what you are looking for.

    What is the best brace you would recommend based on your experience for sports activities like tennis and volleyball obviously after full recovering from sprain

    • @ForTeamTang
      @ForTeamTang  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The aryse brace wouldnt be a bad idea if you are looking for something that is not too restrictive.
      Personally I like a little bit more stability when I wear braces, specifically the shock doctor. You can check out the review video for it below.

    I recently had a eversion ankle sprain however instead of injuring my medial ligament, it injured the lateral ligament. Any thoughts how this was possible as I couldn't find anyone having the same injury as mine. Recently picked up something similar to a zamst(the ones with plastic braces) like in your previous video. Should I use them only during my recovery or should I continue to use them after as injury prevention (because I have injured my ankle on multiple occasions in a span of 2 months which ranges from as bad as swelling to something minor like pain when landing from a jump which goes away after a few minutes)
    Would be glad if you could help☺️

    • @ForTeamTang
      @ForTeamTang  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it is multiple incidences, it is probably best to strengthen your surrounding musculature in efforts to stabilize your ankle. Alternatively, you can take a look at your technique to see if it is contributing to the injuries. Wearing a brace is some what hit and miss in regards to injury prevention given the brace does what your muscles and ligaments are supposed to do. Following up with a medical professional would be your best bet to give specifc advice regarding your specific circumstance.

    I have wide sz 10. I'm wondering if medium size will fit. I read some reviews and people complaining about it's way smaller than what it supposed to be.
