Is Pai Really Worth Visiting? (Thailand 🇹🇭) Doing It Right In 2024!

- In Today’s video we show you around Pai Thailand, as we bring in the New Year (2024). While in Pai, we spend 3 nights in a resort which cost $106 a night but was it worth it? Since it was during the New Year’s celebration, we think the prices were reasonable. One thing we would have done differently, was to book without breakfast, as there were so many options available in Town and since the hotel shuttle was free, it’s a no brainer.

Great vlog as always Gift and Joe. Loved the canyon where you watched the sunset, but quite a hike to get there and the noise of the drones rather spoiled it for me. The breakfast was good but we had to wait a while as it was busy, and just about everything was made fresh. Next time, we will probably just skip the breakfast and have it in town. God bless!

Sorry I missed you been a subscriber for a while I live in Pai now retired from Maryland . Old hippie of sorts following Grateful Dead for many years . Now 69 years young and love Pai But we escape the smoky season for a month down your way in Baan Krut in Prachap Thanks for your videos

Looks nice and was told there are some nice twisty roads for motorcycles to go on, Just never got around to it you make plans but sometimes it does not work out.
Definitely worth the visit if you can.
Pai looked nice , we will need to check it out at some point. That hotel room was very nice had a Greek feel to it, easily a $200+ room in the states

Great video. I waited outside the hot springs whilst my girlfriend (& travelling friends) went in for free. No way I was the only person in our party being charged (equivalent $9) when 7 others were going in for free. Incidentally they let a Filipino national in our group in free. As usual, fees only seem to apply to people who appear to be Western. Anyway, I got to boil eggs and see hot springs for free at the roadside PTT type place between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai 😂 which was better. Actual geysers 😂 Happy New Year 🥳🎉

I understand krabi_tm dual pricing is immoral, in the past tax on airfare then departure was applied. Couldn’t get away with that in UK or other, imagine what else we are overcharged,shows what they think of farangs🙄
Current farang price is $8.70. All day. U.S. public hot springs average $15-$20.

Pai was a tiny backwater village when I first visited over 20 years ago. It's beautiful, but like Chiang Mai, it has become too busy and too commercial for my liking.
Still live here but 5km outside of Pai It’s still very beautiful and magical 22 years later
Do they celebrate new year on the fourth of January?
Yes but they celebrated early for us as today is the 4th and it’s only 6:30 PM right now. Amazing how that works 😊. Actually they celebrate when the clock strikes midnight going into the 1st.
