- As Gift and I were driving with friends to Phitsanulok from Lampang Thailand, we received a call letting us know that our friend of ours just had a fatal bicycle accident in Prachuap Khiri khan and succumbed to his injuries. Some very unfortunate sad news. After getting this news we decided not to video the reminder of our trip. The video footage taken prior to this incident, will be uploaded at a later date. This video IS NOT being MONETIZED by us. RIP 😢 my friend!

Ray and I want to give you our condolences 😔 We remember Phil in your videos and how proud he was to have that beautiful cottage he fixed up so immaculately. It was his paradise and this is just so, so unfortunate that this accident happened. He did go doing what he so loved though as you said and that is one thing that it was also quick as well.

Thank you for this heartfelt tribute to your friend. I will dedicate merit when I go to the temple today (Luang Por Chah tradition). You are right to advise people to have their affairs in order. My wife died in a car accident ten years ago. It was very difficult, however, we both had everything prepared in advance. Making those kinds of decisions in the depths of grief makes it much more difficult.

I will say though that a Belgian cyclist will not likely forget where he was when avoiding a pieces of wood on road. Sadly in a case like this only the drivers version is being given.
