Yet the Mexican president says that the US is weak on criminals 🤦🏽‍♂️ no gang in the US would even think to open fire on government officials and military personnel in broad daylight and constantly bending over backwards for the cartels just emboldens them to continue their actions. His inaction and statements on the villagers conflict with the cartel shows how pathetic he truly is, how do you not IMMEDIATELY send support to them? Those 14 people who were kidnapped are a direct result of him being to scared to piss off the cartels. I honestly wouldn't be shocked to find out he's been paid off by them

A Cartel is a criminal organisation which is focused on a "product". Regardless of dr_gs or rubber ducks.
A gang is a "brotherhood" or "family" of sort. They are not necessarily a criminal organisation but they don't usually have any rules shying away from dr_g dealing and trafficking.
Both of their begginings are Capital (Money, for Cartels) and Power or Control (Rule, for Gangs).

The drug problem, from a economic pov, is a demand and supply problem. If there, is no demand then there would eventually have no more supply. But the way world works, drug demands just keeps on going. And big pharma are also big factor because of it. The big pharma could help by reducing their prices but they will not let that happen because they just want stuff their pockets with more money. Then the govt can do s**t about it because they also benefit from it.
