Absolutely amazing Podcast. Im 43 and supported Chelsea since the early 90s so I've seen it all. I can safely say that John Obi Mikel is one of the most underrated players ever in the Premier League. John Terry is just a legend. It was brilliant to just listen to the guys chat like i was in the room with them and it made me emotional with JT talking about the penalty miss but also laugh out loud at the stories about Mourinho. Please keep up the great work with the podcast.

The 2012 champions league was destiny. We were destined to win it that year, considering all that happened on the road to the final and the final itself. Plus, there were a lot of fighters in that team. Sadly, the current crop of Chelsea players lack that mentality. Nonetheless, we'll get there if we can keep this current group together, with a few addition. Big ups Mikel and JT.

I stumbled upon the English Premier League after overhearing kids discussing it at school. One evening, I tuned in during Mourinho's first season, and there was something about that Chelsea team that instantly captivated me. Despite being miles away in a different city on a different continent, this club and its players played a significant role in my upbringing. This show has sparked a wave of nostalgia for me!

I actually think Thiago Silva has the same standards and levels of leadership and discipline as Terry. But you can tell he has no power in the team. They can’t even give him captain. I mean I love James but he’s not there yet. Let him sit under Silva and learn how to be a leader. The manager should really give Silva the captain and back him to lead this group of young players through their first season. James will get the mentorship he needs to take over at the same time.

What a fun podcast. Runny porridge v thick porridge lol Right Drogbas gonna score the pen, ready to celebrate lol They just had eachothers back and such a great moment when we won the champs. Well deserved after so many heartache. We should have won more champions league but at least is happened ❤

Great podcast, immense insight into that era where Chelsea were the team to beat. Big love to Obi Mikel, was an underrated player of that era, but we loved him dearly. Thanks JT for making this first episode so memorable. Up the Chels #Carefree

Terry should deffo accept a deal to do a documentary to allow people to have a real insight into the man he is. Don’t be scared Terry, you’ve been a brave man all your career, be brave now.

I have watched these podcasts today and this interview my take home and I hope Mikel can start focusing and bring expats to help current players
Mental health is a huge challenge and you can see how players like
    Shevchenko
    Torres
And many more broke down with the pressure
Mikel and all these folks have gone through we need mental support structure for sports men

That Chelsea team is probably the best example (at least in the modern era) of what having the right set of characters in a team looks like. The spine of Cech, Terry, Lampard, Drogba was not just perfect from a footballing point of view but also just as personalities. And there were so many other exceptional characters in that squad. Of course they were good footballers too but I think what really set them apart was their mentality. They didn't have the kind of raw talent that some other teams had, but they got every ounce of quality out of themselves and each other. As much as I hated them at the time, I can fully appreciate what an iconic team it was now.
