hey, can i use the secondary screen on the leftside or is it necessarily on the right?
It's actually designed to be on the right side, but I am sure if it is flip upside down, you would be able to use it on the left side, but may not be as stable though.

Won't it add weight on the laptop screen possibly damaging the hinges?
No it does not as there is a kickstand that provides weight support.
How do you change the view? Mine is zoomed in too much. But just for the monitor. When changing the view settings it wants to change my laptop as well. I want to only change the extended monitor.
I will take a look once I am in front of it, but I thought you use one of the buttons on the side of that monitor.

@patriaoquendo7295 Make sure your computer has the latest update. Also, make sure all is plugged into the correct ports as well.
my lap top is old and I do not have a usb - c port, can I just any of those cords?
You can buy a USB Type-C female to USB Type-A male dongle adaptor for this, actually. amzn.to/43V6uWH
A message keeps popping up saying "Power Saving No signal". How can I overcome that?
Hmmmm I have not seen that error. Have you tried using a different port on the screen extener and laptop?

@raquelortelli7519 I have not seen the error, but could you try using a differnt port on extended monitor and on your laptop if possible?
Mine says the same and tried using different ports also

I think I have a faulty screen because the volume is working but the screen is black. :(
@@BrandiMartin-b9y Unplug the latop extender, make sure your drivers and compture patches are all up to date. Reboot and try again or a different port.
