Hi nice lesson. Great insight. I have a question, my PC has no usb port, and my iPad 10th generation has only 1 USB C Port to power the ipad. Will I be able to use a multiport hub? I tried hooking it by plugging the hub into the charge port of the ipad and it doesn't work. Any suggestions? Also what Laptop is that you have with a USB-C port to charge the PC? Thank you.
I’m having trouble getting that left monitor to show also. My issue is that I don’t have enough ports so I’m using a docking station. I need to connect that left monitor in a way other than USBC. How can I connect the monitor to the hub and then use a cable from the hub to the computer with USBA?
I can only guess as I don't know your setup fully. I'm assuming you have one monitor working with USB-C. The other monitor should use HDMI. You should have an HDMI port on your computer that you can hook it to. Then, you would need a normal USBA to power it also. If both are hooked up, it should work.
I'm just guessing for your situation but you need the switch dock, and hook it up to the monitor via HDMI. BUT, you need to power the monitor also because HDMI doesn't carry enough power for the monitor so there should be an extra cable to power the monitor - so two cables hooked up in total.
Thank you, Thank you!! I didn’t understand that I needed to use both the USB and the HDMI to have the second monitor work. I followed your exact instructions and it works like a charm. 🎉🎉😊

Hello. Can you please help me. I have the setup the same as you. My laptop has a USB C with video output. When I connect the screens, the first one come on as 2nd monitor but the minute I add the other screen via HDMI and power the first screen says no signal and the other screen is active. I have tried connecting the right first also the left first and it happens to both. It seems as if the laptop can only handle one screen. Both screens work singly but the instant the 2nd screen is activated the other goes to no signal 😢. Any suggestions?
The only thing I can think is that once both are plugged in, there isn't enough power to power both. Perhaps you can try to power the HDMI monitor with a wall brick rather than using the USBA from the computer? That's my best guess.
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it really hoping that would do the trick but it did not 😢. I’m desperate so any other suggestions are welcome and much appreciated. I looked for a number or email to contact their support and could not find it. Do you have any contact information you can share? Thank you.
@sacredfavorites not all graphics cards can support 3 monitors. It's not only the power needed by the monitor that matters. It takes a lot of processing power to have 1 functional screen, 3 screen are a lot to handle for many computers.
I have a HP computer, which has 3 USB-A ports, and a HDMI port, but no USB-C port. I bought a triple screen monitor, but only ONE screen works, which was a huge disappointment because it is too late to return it to Amazon now, so I was told to buy a Plugable 11-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station with 100W (Amazon), but this thing costs more than the triple screen. Therefore, would a GiGimundo 100W 5A Charging USB 4 Cable with 40Gbps and 8K 60Hz Video Output (Amazon), work with my computer, and help display the second screen? Should I buy the GiGimundo cable? Help me, please... Thanks!
The critical part to consider is that HDMI carries a video signal and so do specific USB-C ports. You "May" be able to buy a docking station with 2 HDMI ports but those usually have to plug into a USB-C port that supports video out.
Thank you for this. I got one screen to work with the USB C. The second screen I connected to the HDMI port on a USB-C docking station, but it did not work. I do have the USB C to USB A connected as per your instructions. Is there any chance that the HDMI can work with a docking station?
It "should" work but every docking station is so different, I wouldn't know the limitations. If you are using the USB-C video signal from the docking station also, perhaps it can't do both? Sorry I can't be of more help!
I am using the Lionwei docking station and this S2 Tripple Monitor, exactly as described here, and my Tripple screen monitor does NOT have enough power to function I continue to get "NO SIGNAL" error which means not enough power. I looked at the specs for your computer and it says: (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C 5 Gbps signaling rate (data transfer only; charging or external monitors not supported)
I think the only way to do this, if your laptop only charges through the USB-C port, is that you have to purchase a small docking station that allows for PD Charging passthrough as well as providing a full featured USB-C video passthrough

How did you get it? Because I also only have one HDMI and it only turns on a single monitor, if I change it to the left it turns on, but the right one stays off and if I connect it to the right the left monitor stays off, is there something else I have? what to do?, thanks

Ok so I got 2 red lights on but Its keeps saying power settings
Where can i get contact support?
Sir how about the power of the two monitors,it comes from the battery of the laptop?
Yes. That is why it would be advised to have your laptop plugged in when using the monitors for a long period of time.
i have the exact same set up as you did and still no signal. i have one connection on USB-C input with input, the second is connected to HDMI and i also connect the USB-A to laptop and still no signal
It's so hard to give any advice as so many setups are different so I'm sorry if my questions here are obvious (and if you returned it already) - did you check in the windows display to see if they are even detected?
Hi, what kind of laptop do you have ?
Can you use this monitor setup on a Mac pro with an m1?
From the Amazon Listing: "MacBook with M1/M2 chips are not compatible"
@@techfulgoodies That's too bad. Do you know of any monitors for laptops that do work or MacBook pro with m1?
@@pattybelletete3524 I have seen a few on Amazon that specifically say that they support M1 and M2 but I have not tried any of them out so I would not want to point you in the wrong direction. I would suggest searching for triple laptop monitor and in the description or the title it will say M1 and M2. Hope it goes well!
How bright do they go!?
None of my screens are displaying they turn on and say no signal and then goes to power saving mode
Why is my 2nd monitor not working. Please help
Didn't work for me sending it back
Fantastic Video !
How’s it doing 6 months later ?
Just fine - do wish the "clamps" that keep it attached to my laptop screen were a bit bigger as it can tend to not stay attached but still working just fine.
Can you use this with a laptop stand?
Yes, this one connects to the monitor part. The only issue is having a location for the kickstand to rest on to support the screen.
So with it being 14” it will still fit larger laptops you think? I’m wanting to try it out on my msi gaming laptop it says it’s 15.6”. Just worried because it’s $$ you know..
The laptop I used in the video is a 15.6 Dell Precision 5530 so it should fit your laptop i would think
