feels so out of place for this channel to just see that car run so smoothly with no real issues
obviously there's other stuff to make up for it, but still, what year is it?
but seriously congrats, on the way to greatness!
Big congratulations on a great run at El Mirage! The aero seems to be working very well according to your flow viz and the amazingly small wake. Thanks for all your efforts to share with us - I have learned a lot and really enjoy watching.
Sooo guy has a Smart car still and likes to put motorcycle engines in things. I mean I have been wondering when the Smartbusa makes an appearance.
Seems too obvious for Matt. I'm guessing he puts the motorcycle engine in the viper and then the viper engine in the smart car.
@@owensparks5013 Good thing someone already made a Viper-engined motorcycle, otherwise Matt would feel big urge to be the first one
Matt's been putting motorcycle engines in a lot of things, just straight up LS swap it.

Ah yes, Allen Millyard's V10 motorcycle.
He's currently working on restoring to record breaking form the 1990 V8 Norton concept motorcycle.
Wow! Congrats for such a "real" achievement for a channel that's usually "a smart guy d*cks about with real cool engineering" one, that I've subscribed to forever. Kudos Matt
Car sounds amazing!
building an entire top speed race car in your garage mostly by yourself is utterly insane, great job.
Nice to see it running. Looking forward to 6 months from now!
Fluid dynamics and a sense of humor. Love the video, Matt. :)
I absolutely love this channel and Matt's delivery. ❤
Super happy for you - congratulations on getting your license!
Aero seems perfect for now, other areas of the HamSammer might benefit more from incremental improvements as you inch closer to full throttle
Yay for the "The Länd" Sticker. I´m surprised you only got forty of them. I´ll just tell myself the one on the tailfin is mine. ;)
Well I guess it's time for me to subscribe to your channel. Not only did I have no idea I wasn't subscribed, I had no idea you were even working on this project. *2-3 clicks later* I shall now be much better informed of your projects in the future. Stay awesome.
GOOD TUFF MATE 💪 !

Been trying to find a convenient place to put all my small parts bins and at the beginning of the video, the ones at the end of the bench just gave me the answer. I will be making a setup to put them under my 4x8 work table where only one half is organized underneath. Thanks for clearing my mental block....
I see Future Matt with a blowtorch going towards the 3runner after rewatching the footage to notice Past Matt use the red locktite...
Just ran across this by accident. I know a guy with a jet bike and another one building a replica of a 1950's bomber cockpit, so I sort of get the obsession. Love the deadpan commentary.
6:30 Serious Darth Vader vibe

glad to see you actually got in a run and licensed up.
from what i know about aero in other sports, you're coming up on the arena of marginal gains where things like just taping down that hood dust blow hole at the front axle and taping around the camera mounts and other gaps can mean all the difference.

I felt so invested in the race after seeing it all come together. Fantastic video.
The nett hier sticker really hits home….because it’s from the county I’m from
It was so satisfying to see the run finally happen, with the body on! Congrats Matt
5:33 mandatory if dirt is around.
Funny how my video posed at this exact point. No need for me to comment. Thank you!😂
