Jim Carrey playing this on a synth in a movie version of Sonic& Knuckles would be so badass!! Wonder why they teased shadow so early, and skipped Metal Sonic for the next movie?
@@bassplayer807Probably because the second movie was an adaptation of both Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. Which in that case it's weird that they didn't adapt Sonic Adventure for the third movie. But who knows, they could put a ton of things in it.
1:59 The song doesn’t really start until I hear channel 1 playing by itself, but imagine the Death Egg floating in space with Mobius in the background while this is playing. With a bar under it that shows the soundwaves and those waves get bigger as more channels get added. And when all the channels are in and the song is complete, picture starts bopping and then act 2 starts.
@@yugimumoto1 we all heard it on terrible TV speakers for so long that it's ingrained in our memories, and we are amazed at how the original quality sounds. This literally sounds like a realistic kick and snare drum. It's insane how close they got. Michael Jackson's team and Sega's sound team absolutely nailed the instruments in this game. Not to mention that Jun Senoue worked on some of the tracks too. I used to prefer the original sound font, but this just sounds SO good. I don't think there's another Sonic game where there are so many intense basslines with realistic sounding drums like this, Flying Battery, Marble Garden, and even tracks like Ice Cap.
Definitely my all time fave tune from the original Megadrive Sonic games. I can't unhear that woop woop woop from those energy transporters when I hear this song
Boy, those things just waste time. There's almost always a quicker way underneath them with plenty of Rings, so whenever I use Super/Hyper Sonic, I always jump past the start gates so I don't waste half my Rings.
Is it possible you to add a different color to each channel when they change the stereo from left (green) to right (blue) like with what happens on the Channel 2 at the video's beginning?
probably most consoles before CDs really started being used. some sega cd games still use some sequenced PCM tracks though, and those can be turned into oscilloscopes. he did that with sonic CD’s past songs.
Channel 0: Stop mimicking me!
Channel 4: ˢᵗᵒᵖ ᵐᶦᵐᶦᶜᵏᶦⁿᵍ ᵐᵉᵎ
