Do you know if it’s compatible with speed loaders? Obviously you’d need to use 2 but I don’t want it if it’s not since that means it’s very slow to reload, even by hand. It would effectively require you meticulously alternate sides when loading making even topping it off tricky.
@@Joseph660 I don't think you can use the speedloaders that were used on previous models of the Adder. It wouldn't surprise me if there will be one available at some point. Either from GoGun or from someone who 3D prints one.
You have totally transformed the modern crossbow. You are a very clever man. From what I've learned from Tod's video that should be just as powerful as a heavy English longbow.
That's a very skewed way to measure things, they are quite different in how they axhieve their goals. This uses velocity, the English longbow uses mass. This will have more "energy" but it will have more "momentum". This is effective, don't get me wrong, but it's like comparing a hotrod to a race motorcycle, they go about things in different ways.

@9:22... "Well shit, I'm sold!" What an amazing piece of engineering. So awesome to see the evolution over the years come to such a level of refinement.
That looks like a ton of fun. That cocking mechanism also makes crossbows more attractive because dowing the whole bow draw with the foot holding the crossbow thing just breaks the shooting flow I'd want in a practice session.
@@AverageJoe4063 I wouldn't be surprised if they banned butter knives and eventually weight lifting. Completely take away anything that might help us defend ourselves against them when they enforce the new world enslavement order
I love the work you have done, Vielen Dank. :) I have just purchased the adder from Preppershop, but am interested in upgrading to this new V3 system, I like the look of it for target shooting at my local club in the UK, and i will be contacting gogun in the uk.
I never jumped on another model, the Adder was the best suited for me. Far enough power and easy to cock compared to other with less power! the precision, handling, perfect. I only changed the the cocking-lever, the longer version like you have it now!

This is incredible! I know you have done a lot with drill powered crossbows. Have you looked at putting a geared down drone motor and battery on the recocking mechanism. It may be lighter weight than the cocking arm. Wonderful to see how far you have come from plywood prototypes!
Another great vid! Thanks. Nice to see consumer concerns being addressed but Im still going with the Interceptor as I dont like the slow fumble-y reload sequence of the Adder.
Great upgrades to an already amazing tool. But this video...Picture in Picture AND musical accompaniment...nice...adds a lot to the production value. I know that takes a lot of extra effort on my own content...nice touch sir.
V4 wishlist: 1) Triangular stock (same general shape as the Stirling SMG) so the weapon can be fired instinctively from the hip with the stock braced under the arm. (Co. Rex Applegate taught instinctive shooting without sights for targets 40m or less distant.) 2) Cocking lever operates horizontally, with a movement of 45-60 degrees, so this tactical weapon can be reloaded from kneeling and prone positions (ideally a universal joint so it can be cocked vertically too). 3) Maybe make the cocking handle grip slide up and down, like a pump action shotgun. The forward position would be used as a foregrip for shooting: the rear most position would be used to lever the cocking arm. That way the hand never has to move from one grip to another. All the best aus England ;)

Great if you want a limited market. Stupid if you want a global market. You would also lose contact with family and friends. Most of the time, we are happy to find ways to work within rules, if they make sense for public safety. Totally granted that often they are not, but it's more logical for us to raise that vocally and aim to resolve, than to relocate. It is ready for production now, I should get my sample tomorrow. 11 months after the first handmade prototype, not so bad. They just were a bit optimistic.
your next upgrade should be making the bolt caddy a true magazine by making it swappable, you need to redesign how the sight is mounted or separate that from the caddy so you can have the magazine just forward of it. It will be nice to see a rapid reload so you could have different magazines loaded with different bolts or patterns of bolts like you get with firearms.
