May a suggest something? The thumb release for the cocking system should placed on the side (As a stirrup) so it can be pressed while gripping the crossbow without going over.
You could also just place your thumb on top of the release, if you know that you will be shooting more than once. It's probably another part of training with the thing. I agree though, having the release on the side where the thumb is, so it's easier to reach, would've been a wiser decision.
hello Jorge u should tell the manufacturer to design a two-fire trigger, which means that the trigger has two positions. After pressing it, it is fired first, and then pressing the trigger to the end is to release the lever, so that the firing speed will be higher and the safety will not be affected.
More complexity means more testing, higher cost, and more delays. This is a reliable, off-the-shelf build that has a bunch of potential for aftermarket support. 100%, later designs can have extra features for extra cost, maybe a "custom" shop for people who want a more "tactical" look and don't have or want to darken their screws themselves (😂).
I have to say that I like the range of options in this product. The fact that you can switch out to a limb with 120 pounds of force is VERY nice! I had a Barnet wildcat 150 lbs crossbow, and it was a beast to try and cock; that this only has 30 lbs less of force and can be cocked and recocked so easily is a definite plus!

Awesome weapon innovator imagine if you had made this ages thousands of years of ago you would’ve been a weapon genius marvel war general so props to your creative nature and brilliant mind!
Would it perhaps be possible to place the lever or button that you have to press to draw the bow where your thumb is when shooting? So that you don't always have to reach around to draw the bow?
Love it Jorge! Had you considered putting the cocking release on the front grip so you can keep your (rear) firing hand in the same grip position, allowing more consistent trigger pull accuracy between shots, and as a bonus, more speed between shots?
I'm no Jorge, but from the size and tension length I'm estimating ~10kg of draw force (so, around 75J of energy, because energy transfer is never perfect, so I'm estimating 25% loss), and bolts weigh a scant under 10g according to the manufacturer, so it can't exceed 122m/s or 400 fps. Realistically, I'd say it's under 200 fps.
FYI, if it’s not a perfect dot…..take a picture either your phone through the optic….of it’s better you have a stigmatism. But holographic and prism sights won’t affect your stigmatism.
With all due respect to the Germans, I consider him the real-life Stark, Mr. Joerg, he brought innovations to crossbows never seen before, without a doubt, as already highlighted here, it is the most sensational, without flattery, but with sincere praise for a master of weapons, I believe we will see even more advancement in them. but this is the apple of the eye of industrial archery.
The algorithm recommended this video after a decade of not seeing much of your content! You've come a long way from testing different slingshot "rubbers"! Well engineered!
Looks great. I've been very eagerly waiting for this. I'll order in the UK as soon as I can. I did notice though that as soon as you started firing it, you immediately went back to moving your hand off the trigger every time to cock it, just like on the other crossbows. Just a habit? Is the thumb button difficult to reach?
At 4:301 you stated that you should always mount a red dot as far back as possible. This not true, with any 1X red dot you always shoot with both eyes open so you have a wider field of view. With the dot mounted out away from your eye, it makes it much easier to shoot at moving targets, much like a skeet or trap shotgun.
Wintergatan found that releasing something like marbles is way more consistent and accurate than pushing. I like your addition of an actual nice trigger release for what looks like a def premium bow!
Joerg, you are an authority in this field. We all love your video. We all love whne you do something naughty and laugh about it , epic. The Toy looks very cool and seems the magazine has not issue in loading, that s smooth.
Amazing !!! Thx Jorge for bringing so much creativity to blades and crossbows world ! Funny part is I bought the ar-6 stinger 2 like a month ago ! If I knew I would have probably wait to buy this one ! I guess I can start putting money aside for this new awesome weapon !
Joerg, one thing I have not seen with bow & arrow and crossbow tests is adding a lubricant to the bolt head to increase penetration. Firearms use a barrel so these options are limited. But I think adding a very light coat of a Teflon or moly grease to the points will greatly improve penetration.
Isn't it truly amazing how you can put 1 or more arrows into the magazine without them popping back out. It's also amazing how you can put the full magazine in, fire a few shots, and then take the magazine back out without ANY arrows going loose all over the place, and even put it back in to keep shooting since there's no loose arrows sitting in the way of the magazine.
You are a fine example of a man. A gentleman, a scholar, and a German.

Why the Adder? Do you need that power?
.
@@jonnes__4657 as someone who owns a vlad and the adder with that extra limb.
Yes! Its amazing!
@@jonnes__4657”do you need that power” shut the fuck up.
Absolutely. Can’t drop a deer with the current one, way too weak. Hits with less force than a 40lb long bow. The Gatling looks like it’ll have the power, but it’s pcp. Whole different ballgame. @@jonnes__4657
That is. REALLY. COOL. I want one bad, now. Thanks for the video Joerg! Hope everything is going great for you, and that it continues to be so in future.
This really looks like something Hawkeye from the Marvel movies should have equipped. Just imagine the sales boost if you`d get this featured in a movie!
At that point everyone would be thinking "dude...just use a gun."
this is such a kickass video and not only because of the mindblowing product. great energy Joerg, what an exciting idea
11:47 i waited 11 months for this!!!
I waited this for so long, too! 14:16
Excellent!....thank you for your commentary and presentation.
Sieht echt cool aus! Glückwunsch schon mal Jörg und Fa. Mey.
I'm so proud you've gotten to this point, thank you for the great content
Congrats Joerg!! I hope this absolutely blows up and sells out immediately!
I'd like this.
my mouth went wide open when you showed the cocking/reload mechanism. looks so fun!
Love it Jorge! Had you considered putting the cocking release on the front grip so you can keep your (rear) firing hand in the same grip position, allowing more consistent trigger pull accuracy between shots, and as a bonus, more speed between shots?
That's awesome lol. Love everything about it. I could use it out here on the farm.
Its been a couple years sense ive seen one of your videos. Hearing that laugh... brought me back to better days
Awesome Jorge !!! Just 1 request - Could you please always include the FPS and bolt gram weight in all your crossbow vids - Thx.
You a genius inventor, I most wish I had your talent, can’t wait for the official release
I saw it on Go Gun for $600. It is not available yet but the price was there
just a placeholder
It's been there for a year, but the images have been updated recently with this version.
We love you. Keep on being you. I am German on both sides of the family. Greetings from Alaska. Give us more laughter.
Would this count as a "self-loading" crossbow in the UK?
Imagine if the pest control showed up with a pair of these. Bye bye flying rats.
I been watching you since i was a kid waiting for this. Glad its finally ready
:o The design is clean, the shoulder rest makes it looks so easy to reload, I personally like it.
Your yard is looking beautiful!
5:15 DUde! That is going to pinch some trigger fingers for sure. There needs to be a finger guard or rest there.
Joerg, you make the most amazing inventions and developments. Truly exceptional. 👍👏
Der Prototyp hatt mir besser gefallen.
Absolutely love it 👍 congratulations Joerg you have made a master piece 🫡
I want. Make it not expensive!
First calculations from a few months ago said around 500
@@Fuerwahrhalunke wow I will get 2!
Love your videos! It’s never a dull moment, very informative. I’m definitely buying this one 👍🏽
Agreed, and aesthetically I feel like it should be mounted in front of the break, rather than behind it, at least.
"Very nice!", "so cool!", "whoops!", the joyful laughter after all of it... and I'm sold on it, I want one!
That is an amazing invention! Congrats on taking your ideas and designs from concept to production model
There can steambow pack in.
Wintergatan found that releasing something like marbles is way more consistent and accurate than pushing. I like your addition of an actual nice trigger release for what looks like a def premium bow!
now rocket assisted arrows please!
Very nice.. your attitude is priceless..
who else wants to see this on garand thumb?
Joerg, you are an authority in this field. We all love your video. We all love whne you do something naughty and laugh about it , epic. The Toy looks very cool and seems the magazine has not issue in loading, that s smooth.
i remember your stuff from back in genmay days, congrats on all you've accomplished
Amazing !!! Thx Jorge for bringing so much creativity to blades and crossbows world ! Funny part is I bought the ar-6 stinger 2 like a month ago ! If I knew I would have probably wait to buy this one ! I guess I can start putting money aside for this new awesome weapon !
Im glad you're doing good. Ive been watching you forever
Joerg, one thing I have not seen with bow & arrow and crossbow tests is adding a lubricant to the bolt head to increase penetration. Firearms use a barrel so these options are limited. But I think adding a very light coat of a Teflon or moly grease to the points will greatly improve penetration.
YES!!!!! I’m getting this ASAP!! I’ve been waiting for this
That is a piece of art. How beautiful
That in-line stock looks so much nicer than the low mounted stock. That config with the snub nose, the high stock, and the red dot just looks perfect.
Awesome! just awesome. now this is the ultimate evolution of the crossbow! I am so going to get one of these.
Wow, you are awesome buddy. I love all your ideas. Keep up the amazing work. 👏 🇨🇦
