A fun/creepy detail: the final shot of the TH-cam Broadcast shows that it only has like 500 viewers - suggesting that the massive viewing numbers they were seeing earlier weren't real, and were actually the Asylum tricking them into not leaving when they had the chance. After all, if they thought they were only getting 500 views, most of them would've left as soon as things started getting freaky.
One of my favorite things about this movie is that if you really think about it, nothing actually happens in the first hour of movie. Before the girl has her arm grabbed and scratched, the only real show of paranormal activity you knew was real was what was happening at the tent, and that was mild (creepy as hell, but even so). It's only the las 25-30 min of movie that actually have the characters going through it... but man, do things go from a 6 to an eleven and a half in those 20 min. Loved it
@@biswasbudhathoki8144 I watched Noroi, it's excellent. I also watched Suicide Club, Kairo, Grave Encounters, Classroom 6 and Gonjiam. Does anyone have another movie like this to recommend?
i believe the first part was supposed to not be scary at all. it was supposed to be clear that those things were fake. i think when the girl reached into the coffin door, that was the first big real event
I've never been scared of horror movies, but this one rly creeped me till I can't sleep, cuz these ain't those western junpscare one's, these are straight creeping u infront
24:41 The first part of the movie is *supposed* to be a bit meh because they are faking it. The film ramps up as they learn that the haunting is actually real.
Honest review here from a Korean myself. You guys made the funniest reaction for this film 😂😂 Please PLEASE make more reactions like this for other Korean dramas and films
If you're looking for another scary Asian horror movie for this Halloween month I would recommend The Medium (2021). It is from the maker of The Wailing (2016) and it is one of the best found footage horror I've seen since REC (2007) and Blair Witch (2000).
heres a fact- the ghost manipulated the stream to amke it look like many ppl r watching but in reality they were averaging 500 views it was done so tht they dont leave
I remember watching this on Cinema with my friend, both of us are scaredy cats lmao. So you can imagine we both watched almost half the movie through closed eyes and screaming.
If you guys want something scarier, you should try The Wailing. It's also a Korean horror movie but it would literally keep you at the edge of your seat until the very last minute--no joking.
the girl with the black eyes was the worst for me. yu-on and the ring scarred me for life. skinny girls with long black hair that move unnaturally or speak unnaturally are what always gets me. with the close up... almost unbearable for me. holy sh*t
I think this movie plays with the cliché plot very well actually. as much as the first and the second part may seem boring, it's building something. like the fist meeting, interaction and stupid shenanigans gives u a reassuring feelings bc it's something familiar. then u get to know them more and discover that some of the things happening are staged so again, u start to feel more safe but there's still hint of doubt until that evolves into the coffin scene and everything just flips with ur former built up beliefs. I believe it wouldn't work so well if the atmosphere wasn't built up gradually. imagine if it was just jumpscares from start, wouldn't u eventually get used to it and even start getting bored??
As someone that loves horror movies, it's fascinating how pale girls like the grudge or this one have such a strong effect (can't think of actual movie monsters that scare me as much). I know those play on our fear of corpses (pale skin, black eyes, black teeth, long hair, long nails etc), but then I wonder why zombie movies aren't equally as scary. Also why do the sounds she makes trigger so much fear. I feel like from an evolutionary standpoint, mosquitos and snakes should be the scariest things in the world for us.
The detail from the end is really good, they've never streaming and the one who record it all is the ghosts There is one scene in the movie that all the group were in frame and the guy in the tent asking "Then who the hell hold the camera" The viewer also type "the stream just went out after they begin a few second" Which mean they are trap in asylum from the start and the ghost trick them by the number of the viewers Inconclusion, the group are dead and noone gonna know their story
Tbh I really like the way you guys keep it rolling even when commenting. Found another ch that pause every time they open their mouths is not really make you into the film. Keep it rolllllll !!!!!
Me: It’s interesting but not that scary. I can totally turn off the lights. 16:10 happens: You know it really is too dark and there’s things in here I can trip over, it’s only responsible to turn the lights back on…
I would also recommend "crazy little thing called love" thai movie because it's my favorite and it's being back my childhood crush and memories since when I was a middle school student and I love your reactions. And thank you for Reviewing gonjiam.
When that lady in the forest started to turn, that was when the Asian style of horror really came out and it never fails to creep the fuck out of people especially westerners😅
I'm Korean. Gonjiam is a copy of Grave Encounters. If I were to recommend good Korean horror movies... I recommend watching A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) and The Wailing (2016).
i love horror but found footage terrifies me, i watched this movie through my fingers lol, and the audio for your video was almost 0 at certain points. im never watching this again its way too much for me
10:45 youtube really messed this up 💀💀💀💀 Edit: my mvp would be the all of them and fun fact they filmed this in an actual abandoned hospital and then broke it down
Like this comment if this movie made you scream like Jack 😂
Where is 3 idiots movie
Will you reacts to Noroi or Teke Teke? Hm..maybe Corpse Party (live action)...i highly recommend corpse party (anime version)
Yea this movie got me good a few times and was overall creepy as hell.
Where can I watch gonjiam????
His scream had me rollin' 😂

Arent the viewer numbers so low because one of the guys said that the first few things were faked?
@@imnotvelvet y eso es la verdad
When the computer began to glitch i realized something is off right to the ending it was reveal that the evil spirit
manipulated it this whole time.
Or they left
Is it because of that or is it because after one of the guys mentioned it was fake, they stopped believing in it so everyone left
Fun fact : when the main cam dude sees something moving inside the building from outside, he was seeing his on feet dangling, seeing him die early
Now that actually makes sense. I was so confused why it looked so goofy like someone dancing or waving. It was just him struggling.
When first saw it it was like waving or someone getting attacked

I would also recommend "Noroi". Gonjiam was a real surprise for me and a little gem in todays lazy horror scene. Thanks for your amazing review.
Noroi: The Curse is on youtube right now, I hope they watch it because its a very good found footage horror mockumentary.

They filmed this movie in an actual abandoned hospital which was later demolished.
