@@amontiado Oh! I've long held on to a head canon theory about why the combat in DA2 is so over the top compared to DA:O. Remember that DA:2 is a story being told by Varric to Cassandra. And Varric has a tendency to....embellish events. So I can see him telling Cassandra 'And Hawke swung his massive greatsword with the fury of a storm, lashing out at the vile blood mage with at least a dozen strikes before the words of his spell could leave his lips!' Cassandra: 'Sooo...the champion hit this guy with a greatsword faster than Leliana hits with her daggers? /s Just tell me he killed the blood mage! 😠'
From the title I was expecting this to be six hours and fourty eight minutes of Dragon Age: Origins
@@spencerhahn1635 nothing has ever made me miss origins as much as playing this game bro
I also loved the combat in DA:2. But DA:O was also fun to play, it felt more tactical, compared to the furious rush of the second game.
@valen2040 TRUE that's very fair. All the tactics got completely thrown away in veilguard and that adds to the list of sins
