This is the video that got me into RC boats. Didn't even get half way through it before I ordered one. Figured it might be a bit too much to start out with so I got a Sonicwake to skill up on first. Most fun I've had with RC in a while. Thanks for the guidance and keep the videos coming!

Its going really sweet and smooth, can I suggest filling the hollow section in the strut with "Plasti-Bond to takeout the flex .

A lighter 6 s battery like a 5000 mah might stop the back popping up without changing the strut.

I think your right, it definitely seemed bow heavy with that 6000, I have a lighter 5300 250c srd v3 we'll test this coming week, im out of town this weekend.
As said before , stay away from ali props on hydro's. They are nice and thin , but fracture too easy on fast corner speeds . CU, Be props only . When the blades fly off, the out of balance tries to rip the stub shaft out of the hull. PJB

Could be a power to weight ratio? They only had big Allison motors in the day
I’n fact, I believe they lost five hydroplane drivers in one year. There’s a hydroplane museum where they document all these facts.
