Kudos to the assembler. Worked on Porsche for over 12 years and his technique and attention to detail reminded me of how we built Porsche engines. Super clean, super accurate and with high attention detail.

I was racing my upgraded turbo 2014 ecoboost back in 2016. I would race it on the street while pulling a Triton aluminum trailer with an aluminum Jon boat with a boat tarp on it. Trailer and boat weighed 300 pounds. Made for some hilarious runs tho. Put it in 4wd at a light and let it eat with a foot brake boosted launch.

I never thought about dropping all the sleeves at the same time. I guess that makes all the sleeves expand against the block at the same time so that you don't get uneven stress on the webbing?
Just ordered a 2024 f150 single cab w/10 speed in antimatter blue. I cant wait till its built. Already own a TT 03 cobra, pro charged 92 gt, and 2015 whippled gt. The f150 gonna be the new daily.
As far as what a f150 with twin 68 70s puts down 1680 whp, just built transmission stage 2 axles and drive shaft motor just has supporting mods. Midnight performance is best to talk to he runs stock axles built trans diff brace

@@ThatRacingChannel- The mods needed to make the truck live at that power level will probably cost more than the engine. Tranny, driveshaft, rear differential, axles, transfer case, upgraded struts. And those are just the main items. Frame and chassis upgrades?
The truck is still heavy despite being aluminum. Other platforms are AWD as well. The appeal of this is the cost since a new truck would be less than $30k after incentives and negotiation. Especially with trucks, never pay MSRP depending on the time of year they will give them away to say they are the sales leader.

@@jdmmike7225 you’re right, they both are DOHC, have timing chains, pistons and a crankshaft. That’s the extent of the similarities. The coyote is an evolution of the mod motor. The mod motor has been around much longer than the VR38 has. The cam timing systems are different the the VR38 has VVT the coyote has VCT
@@RadDadisRad Have you seen them apart next to each other? Their architecture are very similar, way more robust than the old 4.6 & 5.4 Mod motors. If you really take a look they have so many design similarities slightly tweaked to be called it's own.

I want to do a FFRE engine but the problem is nothing else in the drivetrain lives at those crazy power levels.
