@@SupraMane69 a coyote can use stock heads cam and block. Upgrade the springs, rods pistions and sleeves and you have a 1600hp+ capable motor reliable still running water. At that hp level you start running into issues with the stock block on a 2jz. Then you get into billet blocks which are 10x what any coyote would cost
So sick! I'd also see if power is being put down to all 4 wheels, a lot of XL's have open diffs in the rear and all were open up front. Raptor's come with a Torsen limited slip front and electronic locking rear if looking for an OEM upgrade.

There was never a "need" to do TH-400's or Poweglides. It's a copout; It's expensive to learn about new technology without the right tools or training, people default to what they know best. You want more gears to keep the engine in its powerband longer.
Having a 2023 single cab short bed "RWD" f150 with a 5.0 im glad i watched this because i can say ive been having issues with my trans stock.. has 8k miles atm, i daily it to work, ive only romped on it like 5x? and the trans just does all kinds of dumb shit, it never shifts to 2nd on upshifts goes from 1st to 3rd, thats fine but it also ignores 2nd most of the time slowing down, but every now and again it goes to 2nd slowing down and just Jumps forward and up and rpm "lurches forward basicly" and clunks into 3rd sometimes, shocked tbh but this video taught me alot about it, cant tell if i Hurt it somehow? maybe burning up the clutch? or just a bad egg from the factory?
Having experience working in a dealer as a tech, corporate ford as tech help, and driving these trucks - the 10 speed is very quirky. Not saying you dont have an issue with it, but honestly it is probably "normal". They are very erratic and jerky transmissions sometimes. Look into Alejandro Flores on youtube and you'll be shocked as to how much you will learn.
Sounds like intermintent "shift solenoid function" seems to be common on the 10R80, the transmission and the factory solenoid are made in china=💩 I'd have it looked at before it becomes a problem.😎
In normal drive mode at moderate to low throttle input the transmission is designed to skip gears. Sport mode it will use each gear on the way up. I have had a few times were mine does a slightly harder shift from 3 to 5 but otherwise fine. And very rarely will do the lurch at low speeds in stop and go traffic. If it is very frequent I would ask the dealer to reset the TCM and see it that helps.
Can someone confirm if that faulty valve body issue would be the reason a truck this generation would run fine and then at a red light randomly idle so low to point of the engine stalling out?
That transmission dude is a clown. It’s easy to get a transmission to live a 1800hp with torque management. I’d love to see how his trans does with all the safety’s turned off.

Probably a phaser issue. Not valve body
My 2016 kept doing that.. Ford replaced the phaser solenoids.
