AWESOME channel, i also fly a DX9 Black edition version and recently got back into Heli's after 14 years, i bought 2 OMP HOBBY M2 EVO and first flight pack went INVERTED right away, it is CRAAAAZZZY how it is somewhat like riding a BICYCLE, some things you just never forget, I just ordered 2 TREX 300X to set up, from my flying experience back in the day we ALWAYS had 2 of the same machines to fly incase we crashed one. Will try these settings on the 300X, don't know if you have a video for the set up on a 300X, Thanks again and just subbed!

Greetings from Singapore How do i go about doing an inverted flight? What should I set for my pitch & throttle curve? I am using Spektrum NX10 & SRXL2 DSMS Remote Serial Telemetry Rx
@@westhobbiesrc8051 yeah if you type in T-Rex 470 rtf , it'll pull it right up it's 589... cheap transmitter but it is ready to fly it says thought about this in the h1 flight controller..??
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Thanks for the quick reply! I want to run the single satellite setup like you and this gives me confidence as many people online have said to run a full regular receiver with this build. I much prefer the cleaner setup with only the satellite!
@@jetsam38 you’re welcome! You don’t need a full RX. it’s a waste on this heli. Just add weight and wire mess for no reason. I run a single SRXL2 on helis up to 600s and single DSMX on helis up to 500s. The “satellite” RX we have today are pretty much full range RXs and you will never fly the heli far enough to have a issue.
I just built my second 470l the first one setup flew nicely the second 470l been a headache I got it flying but now I have a wobble it the rotor head when flying like it will stable out then it will wobble and sometimes it gets aggressive wobble then stables out but it won’t stay away any ideas?
So the first thing I would check is play in the grip/linkages/servo arms. There’s going to be a little bit of play all 470s have it. But you don’t want excessive plate. Pull the blades off spool the model up and see if you can see servos jumping around or anything. Check and make sure head is tight no side to side action all spacers are properly installed. No you built one prior but always good to double check. Also what FBL? Micro beast? What head speed?
@@alloutgarage293 The first thing I would check is everything mechanical is good. And then I would start with electronics, make sure all the servers are working like they should not jumping around. The one thing I really don’t like about microbeast is you can’t adjust gains per flight mode/head speed. I had a similar issue on my 600 nitro and it drove me nuts for over a month. I put a ikon in it and problem solved
@@westhobbiesrc8051 just did my maiden had the 74s but it had too much tail no matter what I gonna try the 69s I used your setup and it was great two good flight 2 out of 3 landings perfect one was a little hard coming down.
@@Mao_tse_tung I have not tired the 74mm tail blades but I’ve been happy with the 69mm so not changing it. Awesome! Glad you got some good flights. I just posted a flight video a few days ago if you want to see tail performance with the 69mm.

I’m using the micro beast but the settings will be the exact same for the beast X pro and any beast X version.

Hello! It depends on the heli. The 470 has a ESC governor. But normally I run the iKon or Vbar FBL governor.

I didn’t know they made the 470 RTF. I know they make a Trex 450 RTF. The 470 is a incredible heli. Probably my favorite so far.

This one is a older DSMX FPV satellite (auto bind) but not needed. Just a regular DSMX satellite off Horizon website. Not a SRXL2.

@@westhobbiesrc8051 also the math that I did says it should be 2860 my tachometer read close to 2900 I’m at 70% throttle curve
