Thank you for a terrific video. Straightforward and easy to follow. Been away from Helis for about a decade. Completely forgot how I went about programming my DX7 and JR X9503. Just ordered an IX14. Your video brought everything I need to know back to me.
This is great help in setting up my new DX8G2 For a FBL heli with IKON2. The reason I changed to the DX8 is becouse it's receivers can handle more voltage for servos. My Devo 7 transmitter only good for 4.5 volts and causing trouble with HV servos.
I'm new to collective pitch helis and this just solved so many problems I've been having. Thank you!! Great informative video I just happened to stumble across!!!
You all probably dont give a damn but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Luca Felipe Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I need a lot of help in setting up my Align 470L Combo kit that i have together now . I dont know anything about set up . I am using or wanting to use Spektrum DX6 with a AR600 reciever . PLEASE HELP .
On a scale helicopter with a 4 bladed head I would use no more than 10.5 degrees positive on collective pitch. On 2 bladed I would start at 12 degrees positive and adjust it based on how the Heli flies. Does it bog with positive collective or does it jump to fast. On negative I usually use about 4 degrees negative on scale so I can drop the Heli pretty quick if I need to and it’s enough negative to keep a flat roll if you needed or chose to roll the Heli.
@@wilbertdaley7859 I have the 330s as well. Once I get better at flying, I’m putting in an Airwolf body with retractable gear. Hopefully pop out guns, but that may be a big ask of my current skills
I,m trying to figure out my gain settings for the spektrum ix12 an de Gpro. It has a violent turn with rudder input, so gain to high? With futaba i have a stable heli. Go figure.
@@henkpipo4233 I did not have this problem with my futaba receiver. I plugged the spektrum satellite in the gpro and bind to the transmitter. Meaning something else is going wrong in the spektrum setup.
Thanks for the video. Question. I have Spektrum DX7 and maximum travel adjust value is 150%, while default is 100%. In the manual for microbeast plus it says to set travel to "zero" value. Should I leave it at 100% or at maximum - 150%?
Leave it at 100%. A servos speed and torque are rated at 60 degrees. On a spectrum radio that is 100%. 150% whorls put the servo at 90 degrees which would cause binding on a helicopter.
2023 is coming but its still best video for Spektrum heli beginners 😁

Yes the set up is the same on microbeast.
Great info, I only fly scale do you recommend these settings also, I normally just set by the manual

same question but on dx6 any chance you found soemthing that can lead me right way ? :)
@@henkpipo4233 The tail is crazy and wants to spin. The fact that i had to reverse the gpro orientation after intallation says enough. Not very happy.
