❤ Thank much for the video it helped me at least to do what I wanted and need it, so much work for no reason but its a good reason to file a lawsuit against the fabricant and the crap design" unbelievable 😮
This applies to the Cherokee’s with the 3.2LV6. You DON’T fill up the transmission to the top of the fill hole. There’s an actual procedure that you can lookup on pro-demand. I can’t remember the exact amount to pour back in for a drain and fill. There’s a dipstick you can buy that you use and follow a fluid temp vs fluid level chart to get the fluid level correct(while engine is running) The fluid has to be at least 50c to check it. It’s a pita. The fill and drain plugs are both Allen/hex 8 or 10MM iirc and you can see/reach it from above if you have long arms but the heater hoses are hot af. I had a customer that said the dealer wouldn’t change the fluid cause it’s a sealed unit… if doing this yourself I recommend measuring what you drain out and pour the same back in providing you don’t have any leaks unlike the one that’s been crashed in the video 😂
I got you I have same issue and hard time finding the dipstick to check its level nothing exist for it just that b.shitt plug and crap design and figure out how to know the right level am about to return this shitt due to this, it pisses me off same as others owners"
Can't get the fill plug loose? I guess I need a sturdier tool. Using a wrench but maybe a hex socket would be better? Jeep Cherokee Latitude 2.4 FWD 2018. Comes off counter clockwise correct?
There is two fill or check plugs on the transmission one in the front one in the back. The one he is using is the port you can check level using the dipstick you can purchase. It’s the better one IMO. GOOD VIDEO !✌️
No there is a over fill plug under car !! Cap in under air box !! When over fill if come out over fill plug then let it drip and and then put cap back !! And put fill plug in and u should be ok !!

Yes counter clockwise
I was told you can’t replace the oil!! Have I been lied to this entire time 😭
Yes u have been lied to lol
What size hex bit😅
Yes they lied. The transmission is more expensive than your engine and the most expensive part of the car. It's all business
What size Hex bit does it require for the side fill plug and the bottom drain plug?
The fill plug is under the battery I just looked I saw it on another video on a Honda Acura because they uave the same transmission in it
Thanks for the Info
