Born and raised in CT, I moved to SoCal for college. Learned to ride and surf while I lived there and loved PCH. Riding or surfing. One of my first solo rides was up to Loyola to the parking lot to take a photo to send home to my dad back east. A good day was a cruise up to County Line, a paddle, grab some fried clams at Neptune’s, grab a shower, take a nap and get an afternoon Moto ride in. Lived in SoCal for 14 years before moving to NorCal. I miss people and places but not the cluster it became.
Hi, my friend Wow! It's a motorcycle riding video that gives me so much emotion and healing The riding course is fantastic and awesome Have a lucky day 👍👍👍
I appreciate the kind words! Yes I do plan to do more riding videos starting early august. I just picked up a Triumph Thruxton 1200 so I am eager to get back to riding.
@@jimc6887 congrats on your new bike! The low rider s is so great all around and has loads of power. It wasn’t my first choice to step away from it, I just had some personal challenges this past year and needed to downsize for awhile. Would love to own another one someday but for now it’ll be fun trying something new.
@@spf100_ Hang in there brother and glad that you still have a motor bike! I'll be getting the V&H pipes that you had on there. Love the sound and should be good performance too. Looking forward to your videos...
I appreciate the comment! Going through a move to a different city this summer so once I’m settled in I’ll get back to it. Congrats on the fxlrs comin soon!
Enjoying all the vids, and I love the sound of that exhaust 👌🏼.I’ve been watching all your videos lately to help pass the time. I put a deposit on the new low rider back in may and I’m still waiting. Just subbed, keep up the good work 🤙
Right on! Thank you. I never ended up getting risers on this bike but that was definitely on my list of things to do. I think risers are the way to go to make your hand placement more level with your shoulders. Would probably be more comfortable on longer rides and looks great. Enjoy and ride safe!
Super smooth and enjoyable now that I have a fairing and saddlemen on her. The power and handling are my favorite aspects of the bike. The heritage is a great bike too. Can’t go wrong!
Thank you. My bike wasn’t tuned. At the time Harley didn’t have tunes out for this bike since it was still too new and I didn’t want to do a third party tune because it would have voided the warranty. I noticed some increase in top end power just by putting the exhaust on. I mainly did it for the noise because the stock pipes are so restrictive.
Thanks for the comment. I’m actually just running the stock tune right now. Saving up for a stage 2 kit. So far I haven’t had any issues. That’s awesome you ride safe too!
Had to take some time off but I’ve got a new bike getting delivered this Friday actually. Yea they’re about the same distance for me too. Definitely worth the ride!
I would not recommend a bike like this if someone has very little or no experience riding. But if you take a Motorcycle safety course or are able to practice on some other bikes first with a smaller displacement I think someone like yourself who feels they learn quickly could be successful riding a bike like this! Lots of new riders hop on big/fast bikes right away and find themselves in a ditch shortly thereafter due to common rider errors from a lack of experience so I would just say do what you’re comfortable with and don’t take any unnecessary risks. It is a great bike though and it would definitely be one you wouldn’t grow out of. I would recommend staying away from Harley’s sportster lineup since you’re tall and people usually say they outgrow those bikes and want something bigger after a few months. But as long as you’re having fun then that’s what matters. Ride safe!
@@spf100_ thank you for taking the time to write this great advice! We’re obligated in the Netherlands to take lessons and stuff around safety and more. So I agree that with practice it will work out! 👍🏼🚀
@@dylancoric1194 the only performance part I added was a Vance and Hines 2:1 exhaust. Once I installed it I did notice more too end power even without a tune.

Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it. Love that exhaust! I was waiting for Ponch and John to come out from behind a billboard sign at some point.
Ha! They’re out there for sure. I’m wise to most of their hiding spots now. Thank you for the comment!
Awesome Sound... I love to do that too, a lil' Broom BrooM!
Just to advice than I'm on The Road... 👍

@@spf100_ That's great! Triumph makes a great bike. I've just placed my deposit for a 23 black low rider S. What made you switch to the Triumph?

As an owner of the 2021 Low Rider S. As convenient as it'd be having the gauge relocated. I still like having my 2 gauges.
Yea I think the last gen tank looks nice and beefy with the gauges down there and it’s good to have an analogue speedo which I don’t have.
Mean Videos Gavin.
Watching from New Zealand
Thank you kindly, Philip! Wow, New Zealand looks like such a beautiful place. Would love to visit someday.
