I was there in 1970 when visiting with my Aunt and Uncle in Fullerton, Ca it was a 60 mile drive. Nice to see it's still there and On my next visit to my family again I will ride up with my Brother on motorcycles. Thanks for sharing.
During the 70s and 80s pictures of the new model bikes were often in front of the rock store in all the cycle magazines. I remember drooling over many of those pictures. Rich is a nice guy and super humble. He is quite the celebrity in his own right. He served 20 years in the military and then 20 more years as a DOD civilian. He has rubbed elbows with every celebrity who ever had anything to do with bikes. He has an incredible custom Harley of his own.
My ex-girlfriend lived in the rock house, directly above and behind this place. On the weekends, it was non stop loud pipes, starting at like 8 am. Her driveway had a tiny space blocked off, along the line of bikes, so we'd be able to get to the house.
Great video, thank you for the information. I have seen the rock store many times in other people's videos. Nobody ever Give us this information. Thanks again.
I live about 100 mi from the Rock Store. Have been there many times over the last 40 years. Have chatted with Jay Leno and Gary Busey there a few times. Mulholland Highway to Pacific Coast Highway is an Epic Ride!!! Ride On!
TO THE AUTHOR IN THE HEY DAY IN THE 1970s TO THE 1990s THE PARKING LOT WAS PACKED AND BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET WOULD BE PACKED FOR A QUARTER MILE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS...... WITH UP TO 1500 PEOPLE ON A SAT. OR SUN.
I have it happening. It's 32 and snowing. 4-6 inches. The freezing rain is the killer! Enjoy your ride! Adam, what are you doing with all them beautiful ladies? Where are you at?

The Rock Store
Looks like a Yamaha RZ-500 and a Vincent Black Lightning. I guess all Adam knows about is Harley's or he would have been drooling over the Vincent.
You didn't mention that Vincent
Been there a couple times
I went there twice when I was stationed in So Cal.
