I hate the 3.2 stroke that came with this machine so it was un my drawer for a year I took it out and my coworker gave me the 4.0 stroke cam and I fell in love so before u give up on a rotary machine remember to try the different cams and the rigid bar is my favorite

@@keirongander8659 The quality of the work does not only depend on the fact that someone is using a 4mm cam for, say, outlines, it also depends on who is working with what technique and how much voltage, because you can draw beautiful outlines with a 3.5mm cam and even a 3mm cam. What else I would recommend, and what plays a fairly important role in the quality of the work besides the cams, is what torsion bars you use. Because if you put, say, a 3mm cam, which may seem quite weak, BUT if you put, for example, the strongest torsion bar (Carbon Bar) of the Inkjecta V2 machine into this cam, the whole formula is completely different. Or, for example, if you put a 4mm cam with the softest torsion bar in your machine, that 4mm cam will no longer be as strong. That's why I like working with Inkjeca because, unlike many machines, here you adjust the machine to your own hand and you don't have to adjust your hand to the machine. A huge difference. What I can recommend is to get all the cams (2.5mm 3.0mm 3.25mm 3.5mm and 4.0mm) now you can get them in a box (Injecta cam pack) it's about 80-90 dollars here in Europe it's 89 Euro and buy the all existing torsion bars including the Inkjecta V2 torsion bars. I almost only work with V2 torison bars and the reason for this is because they are made of V2 torison baroque springs and even the strongest torsion bar has a softer, silkier and gentler impact and I could compare the feeling a bit to coil machines. And the other thing I can advise is that the torsion bar does not have any lateral vibration, so I put a very small sealing rubber ring on the machine, not a rubber band, but a tiny sealing ring (you can get such small rings in stores that deal with water taps and all kinds of things like that) ) whose diameter is 1 cm, I don't know how big this can be in inches. Because I often hear from others while their machine is running that the sound of the machine is a bit loud and uneven because they don't put a ring on it that would press down the torison bar and so it may happen that the lines are not sharp because the torison bar does not move 100% straight. Everything will work fine, just give yourself some time to familiarize yourself with the machine and its possibilities. I hope I was able to help you a little

I find adjusting how much of the cartridge needle sticking out quite awkward with this machine. A pen style one you just twist it and its mega simple. This one you have to twist the vice screw thing, whilst pushing the bar and whole machine backwards and forwards, and sometimes when you tighten the vice the cartridge is locked in at the wrong angle

What kind of needle did you use for this machine ? The needles I’m using don’t seem to work with it 😢, also for a beginner here , could you make a video explaining which situations you would use the three different torsion bars with ? I’m confused as to when I have to use each one

what speed did you use on that fake skin piece? i find it unbelieveble how the ink it's going in... i'm used to cheyenne pen and cheyenne thunder.. i've started with a hummingbird bronc v4, tested other machines, now i am trying to use this inkjecta flite nano with the medium torsion bar (the black one) and i can't get used to it. it feels like a cheyenne spirit, super soft, not good for lining, not goot for packing. maybe it's me, or the fact that i can't find a 3,5 cam at the moment, but i'm still using the bronc v4 for good lining and packing :) so, for me... my experience with inkjecta said: get a cheyenne unio :)))

I have the chayenne Sol nova, she is good but I felt more comfortable with the inkjecta flite nano, want her as my 2nd machine, btw is the elite version better or is it just common called flite nano?
Last question, I saw that the grip Was in a steril package (I guess it was sterile) do I have to use for every tattoo a new grip? Because u get a Bar that I guess u can reuse, sure u need to clean it, but that did confuse me a bit

@@ripper9112 4mm is best for bold lines as a longer stroke with a rotary = more power (its the other way around for coils) plus it allows you hang the needle out enough so that you can actually see what your doign when your tattooing without dumping ink all over your stencil

Yeah im aware of that, what i meant is how this machine with 4.0 compare to other top machines in terms of lining, maybe against Spektra Flux for example.
As i said i heard opinions that is not very good, im curious whats your take.
I just bought X1 but i dont have skins yet to test it out and its gonna be my first machine so i got no comparison.

I've been subscribed for a few months. Love the channel. I could really use a free tattoo machine especially this one. I can't even afford a cheap used one right now.

    Great Video man👍
People kinda forget about the inkjecta flite Nano because there are so many newer options available, but it’s still a top notch machine nowadays. It has a brushless dc motor (what fk irons and Cheyenne just started using since the sol Nova and the flux) that doesn’t bog down and can run super fast, and it gives you the option to change the stroke or bar if you need to. The versatility is really great, because we always evolve as artists and change the way how we tattoo over time. With something like this you can just change the cam or bar if you want to try a new technique that requires a different hitting machine. I love my X1 😁

Hey which bars would you recommend for which application? Like soft for black/grey realism? Hard for lining? Thanks!!

      hey mate ✌🏻
There is no right or wrong, its all up to you. Just choose the one that suits you, or experiment a bit.
Coil machines are punchy, so you need a soft one for shading. But rotarys are hitting the skin with less force, so you dont need any give at all. Some people are doing great black and grey even with 4mm cam and steel bar, and others are using 2.5mm stroke and steel bar, or 3.5mm and a softer bar.. its really up to you, and the way you want to work. If you are a one machine guy i would try a steel bar, the carbon bar or the semi rigid bar. If it feels too stiff for your liking go softer, if it feels too spongy take a harder one
