I got a cheapo rotary kit with everything ordered from Amazon. I can't wait to start. I used to tattoo a lot back when I was young then I just quit and start working a job, I want to get back into it so bad. Thanks for the vid!

I’ve been looking for this video Since I started tattooing and watching your videos. I got an ink jekta just because of your recommendation and I love the flexibility and lightness of it! But I’ve been having a hard time pulling lines with 9rl without riding the tube. And now that I know how you have it set up it’ll be easier to do it!

I still to this day use my bronc v1 and bronc v3 rotaries....the v3 is so super easy to break down and autoclave and the v1 is perfect for lining....3.8mm stroke and hits hard....i do use alot of pens now but if i do any traditional work it's always with my bronc v1 and bronc v3....every now n then I'll use a bar needle setup and use my hummingbird but that's rare lately

I like lining with a coil because the lines go in effortlessly for me in one pass, maybe 2 at the most. But it’s also hard for me because the machine is heavy and shakes a ton. Lining with a rotary is hard for me because while the weight and shaking is no where near as big an issue as with the coil machine, I find myself going over and over lines trying to get a solid looking line. I’m just gonna keep hit the fake skin and tattoo straight line stenciled over and over with both machines until I’m able to line well with both.

Hello Tattooing 101.Thanks for uploading your content, it's really informal. I'm an IL art student who has recently started thinking about a career in tattooing. I have been trying to do research into a beginner machine so that I can gain an understanding of how they operate and feel. Based on everything I've seen I have an interest in the rotary style machine. When I have enough money saved up, I may try to find one to try it out.

Thank you. I got a rotary because I brace very small hands and with the gun I was having a hard time finding a way to hold it without it hurting my hand or being shaky. But I am struggling with the rotary even more for some reason. I thought maybe it would be easier for me to hold but I’m not sure anymore.

Anyone know a solid beginner machine for a 12 year old girl that wants to start learning? We don't want to drop money on an expensive machine for her first one but is solid for her to learn with and make those beginner mistakes on. She's ridiculously intelligent and has taught herself to draw and do art in general, also taught herself to work a damn tablet at 4yrs old on her own when we weren't looking....which is fkn sad since I didn't know how to work a tablet until I was in my late 20s.....
I stressed to her the most important thing to learn is always always always good safety health habits and the health risks involved in tattooing. She won't be doing actual tattoos on people but learning on fake skin. Dad has a lot of skin still showing and mom won't let him spend absurd amounts of money getting covered up damnit....Ricki is my only hope! lol jk
