    Do you have (or will you consider) a video explaining the innards of a rotary machine and how they work/what they do? Or please direct me to a source where I can understand the following; Why would different pushrods be needed/used? And why would multiple cams be necessary? Obviously I'm completely new at this and trying to learn all about the rotary machine. Any advice would be appreciated. (I am currently an apprentice but have not used a machine yet).

    I’ve only used Amazon cheap machines and everyone at my shop using them as well. My mentor was pissed when I brought this machine up and said I don’t need it.. do you think it would help my tattooing with the responsive sounds for depth?

    AMAZING editing Tyler. Great review I was interested in this machine for a while especially because of the torsion bars and cams. Couldn’t find many reviews and the ones I did find were mostly negative. Opted for another machine but nonetheless amazing review. Glad that you are back to work in PA. Stay safe man

    The light on the injectable is polarity sensitive . It only turns on when the polarity from your power supply is correct. The power supply I own, the connection on it was reversed, which means the whole time I’ve owned it I’ve been running my machines in the wrong direction. Once I bought the inkjeta I found this out because the light wasn’t on. So I changed the polarity on my power supply . Then the light on my inkjecta came on. Cool little feature

  • @julive565
    @julive565 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hell yeah I've always wondered if I should get an injecta or not. I use a bishop and some workhorse iron coil machines from Mike Pike and Aaron Cain and I've had a blast. Was thinking about getting one of these, astingrays, or something from FK irons, but I it'll all just seems extra right now considering I'm very happy with the machines I have already.

      @ThatTattooGuyOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What bishop do you use?
      I’ve been thinking about getting the battery pen from FK irons I forget what it’s called tho

    • @julive565
      @julive565 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just have a regular ol v6 rotary. Took a while to get used to compared to my heavy ass coil machines, but ever since my hand injury it's been my go-to machine. My take is it's one of those less is more machines, so I can use up to a 9rl before things get cringy (at least for my take) but it can run RS needles like a boss, so I'll go to those if I want a bigger spread with minimal needles.

    • @julive565
      @julive565 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as shading, I believe it was made for that but the tiny thing can run pretty quick before it gets powerful enough (to me of course) so I still rely on my Mike Pike machine to do the smooth shading or color. Either or I love my bishop, I think it has a cool name, the machine looks cool which just adds to the likability, and it's my right hand man for now.

    Which machines are more versatile? I’m thinking about going with the xion or the Valhalla for use with black and gray realism as well as neo trad but there’s hardly any reviews of the Valhalla so I don’t know what the general opinion of it is, and everyone makes it seem like all the xion can do is black and gray.

    • @ThatTattooGuyOfficial

      I’ve been using the Valhalla for a little over a year now and that thing does it all.
      I’ve never used the Xion but I’ve spoken with people that have about it and apparently it’s not super versatile.

  • @roytumbelaka

    To change needle depth you only need to adjust the click on the grip (if you use RPG or any adjustable grip)
    You need to stabilize the bar with rubberband or what i do is put a coil machine o ring behind that vise collet
    I line easy and fast with this machine (just play around with the volts and watch the skin while tattooing) the biggest i did is 14 and fast and healed good
    You can bag the whole machine up to the grip (i’m using cheyenne grip) with a wide cable cover..

    This review is nonsense, seems like you dont like it couse its not versatile, meanwhile is one of the most versatile machines on the market, you should buy 2.5 and 4.0 strokes and then judge. Im thinking of gettin wireless version couse this machines are versatile with multiple strokes and are solid as fk, nobody is complaining that they died, only thing im hearing that people using them for years and they as good as new, meanwhile Valhallas dying 3 times for one guy and 5 times for other in one year.

      @@ThatTattooGuyOfficial I dont even know if i like it, but spoke to 2 different people who has both Sol Nova and Inkjecta and both prefer Inkjecta, and i got pretty good deal for Inkjecta X1 880$ vs 1100 Sol Nova Unlimited, so i guess its no brainer, i will be owning it pretty soon as a first machine. I cant afford to go for Valhalla and its gonna most likely die and im gonna have to buy new one. Some people dont like InkJecta's but everybody agree with one thing that they are pretty much undestructible. Thats most important, you can get used to anything i guess if its not performing bad.
