Despite using fake skin, this is one of the best lining tutorials I have seen (and I’ve seen a lot). The key value is in the theory, which is dripped out at appropriate moments through the demonstration. Don’t be tempted to skip and watch bits and pieces, this one’s well worth being patient. Great work!

I've been tattooing for over a decade, and I'd have to say that the Vaseline really isn't for the needle to be gliding. In my experience, the little Vaseline applied makes the excess ink much easier to wipe off. And that's basically the idea of the Vaseline. Technically, you need no help gliding the needle..

I wrap the fake skin around something similar to the size of an arm or leg as tattooing on a flat table spinning the the design around at will isn’t going to help you prepare very well. I tattoo rounded the top of an upholstered chair held on an angle… hope this tip can help some folks out 😊

I have about 6 months of classical training in a shop and then I moved on and now I just practice on myself, my wife, and fake skin. It's more of a hobby than a career for me. The issue is I had a very basic set of ground rules and training but it was all very basic and beginner stuff. This video helped me more than any video I've been looking at recently. The techniques and theories that you talk about were so clear and concise. Thanks mate !
